So we went a few miles down the road and decided to give a different Applebee's a try. Who whata difference 20 miles make . The hostess was outgoing and very accommodating. Our server Rick absolutely a Rock star. .. we did have to wait awhile however everyone acknowledged us . Even the manager came over to check plus I saw her helping ti clean tables and serve! This location should be the standard to which all other are held bravo!!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Five-Star Experience at Applebee’s!
I had one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time at Applebee’s today! My steak was cooked to absolute perfection 😋 juicy, tender, and full of flavor! It was topped with savory mushrooms and onions that complemented it beautifully. The mashed potatoes were smooth and buttery, and the fresh green beans were seasoned just right. Everything was top notch!
A huge thank-you to Amanda, the fantastic bartender and waitress who made the experience even better. She was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect from start to finish. Her warmth and professionalism truly made me feel welcome and cared for.
It’s rare these days to find that level of genuine service and quality food together, but this Applebee’s absolutely delivered. I’ll definitely be coming back. I highly recommend asking for Amanda if you visit!

About a month ago I had a bad experience here. Really really slow service despite not being that busy. Finally got food after maybe 30 minutes there. Only got drinks because the manager Finally brought them. When I looked at my prime rib dip I was highly disappointed. The au jus was a couple of dehydrated onions in a cup. No liquid at all. There was maybe 2 very small pieces of meat total. Was mostly bread mushrooms and sauce. It really had the potential to be a really great dish. Tonight gave in to my spouse and decided to give them another try. It was again not very busy. 4 at the bar and maybe 4 or 5 small tables total including us. Took forever for the server to get our drinks. Said she would be right back to take out order. We never saw her again. After about 15 minutes we walked out. It's too bad as we used to enjoy Applebee's in other towns.

Just went in to Applebees Austin and one waitress was sitting at a table on her phone another was ringing in an order and there was no one behind the bar. Sat there and not one person even greeted us and said be right with you. We just left. Horrible customer service!

Absolutely by far the best Applebee's I've ever eaten!! I maybe make it to this Applebee's 1 time a year but every single time it's amazing!! I got the classic cheese burger this last time and it was by far best burger I've had ever! A+++++
We came in right at opening time second table through the door. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees. Appetizer came about 10 minutes later and we continued to wait another near 20 minutes for our entrees. After delivering our entrees. She disappeared. Seeing as she only had two tables us and another. I expected she would have checked back. I ordered a medium rare steak then cut into it and found that my steak was not even rare it was lukewarm and raw. By the time my server had checked back on the table my father had already finished his meal. After we informed the server to take the steak off the check and we were gonna leave, then she went over to the manager who was sitting at a table talking to someone. The manager then came over and offered to throw the rare steak I cut open and had already taken a bite of back on to the grill so we can take it home. Didn't offer to remake or even replace it. I'm sure that is a health code violation. We normally like Applebee's but we are not sure if we are going to return after this.

I am staying in Austin for work. I went to Applebee’s for supper. I was seated quickly. Waitress took my drink and appetizer order and didn’t return to the table ever. Female bartender was amazing. She noticed my waitress hadn’t returned and asked if I needed anything. She took my food order for me. I ordered a chicken sandwich and it was inedible. Talked to bartender about it and she agreed with me. Got the manager and the manager came and saw no problem with my meal. Was going to make me pay for it even though I couldn’t eat it. Bartender came back over and asked if the manager had come yet I told her what she said and she is like oh hell no you’re not paying for this! The bartender went and talked to the manager and had her take it off my bill! My waitress never did return to my table my entire time I was there.
