Got the gyro. The meat was tasty enough but portion size was really, really small. Value just isn’t there. Won’t be back as it’s not worth $10 for so little meat. Other gyro places we’ve frequented outside of Austin charge about the same but you actually get a pita packed full of gyro meat. Will save my gyro dollars for those places that provide a better value.
We always have great food and service at Mixto. They are a quick and easy stop for people traveling on I-90 during the week.The gyros are phenomenal! My favorite is the Hawaiian which they make with no onion for me due to a food sensitivity.The pepperoni pizza is made on their delicious flatbread dough. They say they are about Greek food but I found the Gyro a bit disappointing. I was expecting real lamb and got something different. Very good service, but the meal was not very good.
