Meals are great. But $7 for two cups of coffee? Also I don't like the coke freestyle, taste like chemicals. Just get water.
Really makes a difference for who serves us. I bring my granddaughter. She is now 6 years old and I'm trying to teach her outside manners, new experiences and food. I DO like the kids eat free Tuesdays. We have a favorite waitress. When she's there the food comes perfect because I'm particular, as I had a past heart attack. Austin MN is my home town. I do go to all on the way up northern MN. I really like that all Mn. Towns and city's HAVE Perkins. That's a 5.Familiar and comforting food is important for me and esp, for our trips to to Mpls. M6 granddaughter would rather not eat then have strange, new or differently made food. IHOP dis not work for us.
Dietary restrictions: I order special each time in Austin. We go each Tuesday and some special Sundays with my children too.
Kid-friendliness: Tuesday's are known kid says so we, my granddaughter and I, don't bother other patrons. Also she likes that other children are learning outing , restaurant rules.
Wheelchair accessibility: I have had back surgery and two new knees, in the past. Cane, walker assessable. Never a problem. Also when she was using a highchair for her baby dolls they were kind about it. We had a whole year of babies dolls and stuffed animals friends coming with . So bring the kids, bring there comfort items and help them have a nice outing. I grew up not being included and I really appreciate Mn. Perkins has a children involvement. Frankly I won't go out without my granddaughter so she has memories of our special time together.

This is clearly The Good Ship Larry-pop. We showed up during the post-church rush and signed in with Larry, the general manager. He’s running a well oiled ship. The staff was bustling, Larry was greeting the regulars and making sure everyone had what they needed to keep the wait time down as much as possible. The food was good and the coffee was plentiful. Our waitress Lori did an excellent job. Kudos!
