My family has visited 41 states by car and when we come across a BBQ restaurant like this, I wish it were closer to my home. Finding good BBQ is tough but Piggy Blue's is worth driving out of your way for it.

We stopped in about 2 pm and had lunch I had the combination plate with pulled pork, ribs, cornbread and pit potatoes and toast. Wife had pulled pork sandwich and cornbread. Everything tasted great and good prices.

Excellent coleslaw and beans, hubby's brisket was Excellent, my son devoured his Jackass Burger. My ribs were tender but dry. Wouldn't recommend the ribs.

When I saw their website online was the most basic web page ever, I knew their BBQ was going to be good. And man was I right! We had a combo plate with brisket, pulled pork, potatoes, cornbread, and coleslaw. Everything was delicious, with my favorites being the brisket and cornbread. A lot of places utterly screw up coleslaw, but I'm happy to report this place has great slaw. We also had the SPAM fries as an appetizer and SPAM never tasted so good! I wish I had pictures of the food, but it was so good that we forgot. We will be back here next time we're in Austin.
