I saw another review put it perfectly that Yes, this is a hidden gem! I will be recommending before other places in town. Ate lunch here, friendly staff, not much of a wait, and the food was excellent. They also have a grocery, meat, and bakery section in this hidden gem. I will be back to try the other sections!

Love this place! Best Mexican restaurant in town, coming from someone who has lived here for over 20 years. There's a reason why local Hispanic and people a like ( ethnicity) come here, very authentic!! Come here twice a week.

First and foremost: It's grocer with a taco shop in the back. I can't speak for the grocery part but I love their food. Best authentic Mexican in Austin for sure. The birria tacos are the best item on the menu IMO. They also have birria ramen (YUM) and a desert counter that always looks sublime. Yeah, it's not the fanciest place around and sometimes the cashier doesn't speak English. That's why you order with numbers. Don't come if you're not...
