“Who doesn't love to support a small town bar? We did not try that food. But I think they have some Frozen pizza available to eat.. They do not have tapier but the bottles are about $4 a piece. The establishment is brand new, bathroom jerk and plenty of parking. The locals are friendly so why not give it a chance..”

“Went to the Avon Cabin Cafe for the first time this past week and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the three meat omelet which came with hash browns and a pancake! The pancake was the size of a plate! I definitely recommend eating here. I wish I lived closer so I could go more frequently. Will definitely be back!”

“Very good sandwiches! Been there a couple times! Prices are better than fast food joints and the food is way better! Plus they have old school arcade games just to play! Don’t even cost! I stopped here for lunch at work today and I didn’t want to leave! I don’t care what anyone else says this is a place worth trying for sure! “Husband had this pizza years ago at a rural location. He completely forgot about it until seeing sign at a different location in another very rural area. I personally have never had it and I'm extremely picky when it comes to pizza. It's one of my favorite foods. Well he suggested I try it because he remembers loving it over a decade ago. So I agreed and got a simple pepperoni pizza and then drove 15 mins home. Only cost $11.99 plus tax for a 12" Pizza which is cheapest pizza I've ever purchased. I had to rewarm it which made me hesitant on the quality. I was totally wrong. THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER EATEN. First purchase for me was yesterday and today I went out and bought 2 more. Great dough, sauce, cheese the works. I will forever be a Hunt Brothers Pizza only..”

“My husband heard about this restaurant from Taste Buds on channel 9. Our server Lauren was great very knowledgeable about all the food. Made sure everything was alright. Worth going to food is great we had crabcakes, oysters, my husband had Shrimp Jambalaya and I had Smothered Catfish with Red Potatoes. We'll go back worth the drive.”

“I have been going to Bo Diddleys for over 30 years and Bo Diddleys subs are the best except for the fact that they switched to Miracle Whip from the traditional Mayo. I remember them trying this switch years ago and they did end up going back to Mayo. At least give us a choice between Miracle Whip and Mayo. Remainder of menu is great.”

“I recently stopped in at the Hideaway bar after moving to the area earlier this year. As a bar goes, it’s the kind of place where everybody knows everyone else. Don’t worry if you don’t know anyone, you will soon enough. They have great live music, and the drinks are reasonably priced. Their pizza is better than dominoes, or Pizza Hut, and far better than any bar pizza I’ve ever had. Actually, it’s one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had. It’s a perfect fit for this little town.”
