Possibly the best walleye dinner in Minnesota. Travel around the state a lot for work and this was a real treat. Also had a special on Grain Belt Premium when we visited - what’s more Minnesotan than a Walleye dinner with a Premium?

Had to wait for food when it finally came it was cold!! The waitress took it back and we waited and waited . Finally told her we were leaving. She apologized and offered us dessert. We said we didn’t want dessert, we wanted something off our bill. We got 50% off one meal We won’t be coming back

This restaurant smells musty. They boast the best potato salad. If you pick the potatoe salad as a side you get a melon ball scoop size. If you pick the sweet potato tots you get 5. Not sure I'd go back.

Wonderful find just off the Wobegon bike trail in Avon!
My skeptical nature made me wary of this place. Luckily the fare is better then your typical American restaurant. We sat outside because part of our party has a dog. Beautiful view of the lake. The side salad was lovely. House made orange vinegarette is very nice and refreshing. I love that they use mixed salad greens and fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. Walleye sandwich or any Walleye meal is a must. The fish melts in your mouth. The sweet potato tots are soft inside and crispy on the outside. The bathrooms are weird as heck and could use an update. Our server was very kind but you could tell something weird was going on. Not sure of what company issues are happening but having your heated discussions in front if the main door probably isn't the smartest idea. Hope you are able to figure things out.

We were staying in Albany at the Merchant’s Hotel. We asked where we could get a Walleye dinner. The suggested the Fisher’s club in a town 7 miles away. It was a retro resort restaurant with full bar. Located on a small lake with view of the sand beach. I LOVED 🥰 the atmosphere. The food was amazing. I had a sweet potato, black bean burger. My husband the walleye dinner. Topped off with an Old Fashion. We had a great experience at the Fisher’s Club. We highly recommend you try this place 🐠🐟🐠

How did we ever miss this place? The vide is definitely old supper club with just a touch of a lake side resort (sans the resort)!😂. The lake view with patio seating is a perfect spot to spend an afternoon or evening. The menu is extensive and everything that comes through the swing door of the kitchen looks fabulous. Sit at the old time wrap bar. Great way to watch sports from several mounted TV’s or start a chat with your neighbors. We ordered a Bloody Mary (it needs a little work) and a strawberry spritzer. Yum! We split the large app of sunnies and onion rings. So so good. The fish was fried and crispy and the tartar sauce was delicious. No complains from us. It definitely was a Sunday stop for people and it was obviously that many were regulars.
