Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

This one is a disaster. I drive to a dq further away just to avoid this one.
I did mobile orders twice. Put in an hour early with a pick up time. Ended up still waiting approx 15min the first time, and almost 30minutes the 2nd time. And the order was missing stuff. Run!

We recently came in on Saturday or Sunday, and we had a very polite lady who reassured us on our food! She seemed quite short staffed, and handled everything perfectly! My daughter loved her eyeliner. My little ones just finished the blizzards we had kept in the freezer. My old dairy queen never blended anything fully; but she sure did! Not only did she clean the tables before we sat down, she was also zooming through kitchen and making ice cream. 10/10 experience, wish I remembered her name.

Belle Plaine Dairy Queen December 17, 2025 stop.
This place is a mess . Bathroom stinks.
Bit into my $7 cheeseburger and hit a cold spot.

Incredible experience at this location; the ladies on shift during our visit were top notch! They took care to make sure our order was correct and fresh. Our baby was so fascinated with watching the life behind the counter and we loved how the team interacted with her. 10/10 we will be stopping by again, and recommending it to others!

I got a blizzard and a sundae they were both good and the worker was really nice and even gave out a free duck to my godson. Very impressed!

There was one lady behind the counter that was fantastic! I'm slightly hard of hearing. Thankfully this lady stepped up. Then went above and beyond. I've only experienced this kind of service in Byron MN.

This is literally the worst Dairy Queen ever. Unbelievably slow and always get our orders wrong.

Food is buns. Took 1 and a half hours to get food. Food cold and soggy. Sticky floors and pee all over the bathroom. Tables unsanitized. Service was slow. Garbages full. Used bare hands to handle food and ice-cream. Garbage on the counter. Numbers left on tables. Drive thru takes 2 hours and cars are lined up in the street to order. Minimal parking.

I would not recommend this location. As a family that goes to many dairy queens across the state this one stands out as one of the worst. The tables and floor were dirty, the employees were less than professional (heard them swearing and carrying on with their friends who dropped in and it took 4 times of saying my order was ready by the kitchen for them to actually go and get my food from them to give to me) The fries were cold and gross. The other items like chicken strips and burger were meh. The ice cream was good. But honestly those workers with attitude were something else. I didn't even feel safe sitting in the restaurant the way they were behaving. My previous trip last year was much better and I loved it so not sure whats going on this year.

Placed a mobile order and waited about an hour, also got 1 medium blizzard but got it in a small. The place was messy, no lids or straws, spent $38 and wasn't even hot! Never going to this place again.

This is the longest I have ever waited in any drive thru ever, 15+ mins for two blizzards seems a bit insane.

They were understaffed but dealt with it well. Still got the 2 door dash orders I needed within 15 mins.

The only knocks on DQ is the high prices and understaffing making orders take longer than usual.

Service was slow, workers were screwing around, food came out wrong and when told they didnt do anything about it. Watched as the cooks handle food without any gloves on the whole time. And all of our food tasted terrible. The building was messy, no clean tables, floors were not cleaned up and the garbages were super full and couldn't put my garbage in it. This dairy queen has went to shit over the years with no good management evidently.
