I don't usually give 5s after one visit. However, in this case, it is appropriate for this basically a one person operation. Fighting on, despite staffing shortage, she delivers a good breakfast at a very reasonable price.
It was alright. Nothing was particularly exceptional, but as diner food should do, it definitely filled you up. All the food appeared to be provided by a food supply company such as Sysco (pancake mix, frozen country fried steak, etc) and did not appear to be made from scratch (the exception may be the gravy). Loved the simplicity of this place! The omelettes and chicken fried steak are great! The prices are very reasonable. Bonus points for the HOT coffee. If you’re looking for fine dining, this is not your place. If you’re into small town feel and home style cooking, you’ll love it as much as we did.
