We asked host to NOT go down the stairs/ bar area…took us all the way around then to the bar area!!!!! Guess he was nee? Or not very smart

I'm a once a month customer here and everytime we go in it's wore. 2 weeks ago my wife and ordered steaks and potatoes. Simple right?.... No steaks we way under cooked and the potatoes or should I say sour cream cause you got more of that than potatoes were ice cold. I was VERY Disappointed

Update. I really like Applebee's, but the Bemidji location needs help. I came in a month or so ago and all the friers were down, the restaurant was less than half full with wait times to get seated was 30 min, hire some people, please. I came in today and all the tap beer is down. Do some maintenance.

The management at this location is terrible. The bartender, who was obviously new, was slammed and manager kept on pointing to where different bottles were located but never stepped into help her. The people sitting at bar before I came in hadn't been helped yet, I waited almost 10 min to even be acknowledged. The manager could have stepped in to help or had someone else jump back to get caught up but mostly stood at the end on his phone. Food was good, service needs some help.

Our food came out extremely fast and beat our appetizers. This wasn't a problem at all, and the appetizers arrived within a minute of out appetizers. However, the manager still gave us a discount just by default. The food itself was amazing as well, and so was our server, Parker.

As a customer, they look down at POC. My family and I were overlooked by the hosts and servers. As in they were happy to send people who came after us seated first before they decided to come to us.

As for the food, quality has gone downhill. Food prices are raised but portion sizes are much smaller. Everything is incredibly salty. My son ordered a rare steak but it came out well done. The ambiance was off and he was too scared to take it back. And I get that there are busy times but we had to wait over an hour for food and that is simply unacceptable in the restaurant industry. And the sad part is nobody wanted to fix the problems that were pointed out to them

Horrible! Wife ordered chicken strips, they brought out the wrong order. So the waitress said they wouldn't charge us. What did they do? Charged a dollar for the RIGHT order PLUS the cost of the wrong order. Who the hell does that?;

Food is exceptional with great deals and special ?6 drinks every month. Service is acceptable. And every now and then you get a great wait person.

We hardly saw our server. When we asked one of the people on the door to get us drink refills she told us our server had to. Never told him though.
