This was our 1st time at this restaurant. I can’t rate the food, because we never received our food. 1st at check in it was very disorganized. No one seem to know what the other was doing. There were empty tables and booths but we still had to wait over 30 mins. Finally seated and had to wait more til finally the server took a drink order. More waiting got our drinks and the server was going to leave when we asked if we could order our food. We did. The. Waited and waited. Tables around us for their food and left and new diners seated. Still no food or even our apps. The sever never once stopped by to ask us for refills on drinks or to tell us what was going on with our food. Finally after waiting over an hr. We just got up and left. As we were standing there to leave the server just walked right by us. No eye contact, didn’t say a word. So we left. Will never be back

Spectacular service! Ordered the Salmon Entree and the Hangover Burger and everything was done perfectly! Excellent food! Extremely happy! Highly recommend!

We waited 10 minutes to be seated at the table we reserved. Ordered drinks, was told she’d bring water for all. After another 5-7 minutes I asked if we could at least get the water. Two people ordered onion rings as their side and they were brought side salads. Fish was hard and cold. Service was horrendous. 4 servers and 3 seemed to hang out behind the bar more than serve customers.

Stopped here for dinner. I had the Tequila Lime Pasta. The shrimp was cooked perfectly. I would have it again, but there are so many menu items that look good it will be hard to pick.

Good food, easy downtown location. The appetizers we ordered were delicious - Chicken Parmesan soup, Caesar salad, Moo Ping. The salmon was tasty, but a little overcooked. Service was friendly, yet slow. I’m not sure if they’re understaffed, but it definitely took some waiting to take orders & get us food. Would try again.

I came to town and my mom and I went out for dinner. Our reservation was for 530. We waited about 7 minutes to be seated. The 3 workers were behind the bar and kept telling us it would just be a minute. It took me asking for waters after we had been seated for 10 minutes or more. We were given side salads instead of onion rings, my fish was hard and cold. The bill came and they added a few glasses of wine on the tab which we only had martinis. Horrible service. Like…absolutely horrible. Wasn’t even busy when we were there.

We were just at Blue Oyster for the first time.
We loved the bright and sunny space at lunchtime. The salmon and tequila lime pasta were both fantastic. Service was good and fast. This is a new favorite for us!
Fantastic lunch! I’d go back just for the bright, sunny spaces. Our lunch was absolutely delicious. Food was unique and special but not weird. Staff was great, cool place. We’ll be back!

A great experience overall. The three entrees we had were all delicious: Georgia peach pasta, Khaoso, and spicy basil pork. We sat in a booth near a window and the atmosphere in that area was a little outdated, but a nice view. The reason we were placed there was because the sun was too bright in the main dining area...sun shades would help. Service was good. The tap water had a chemical taste. I'll definitely return to try more.

I was told this was the place to go to especially for the amazing service and atmosphere but on a late evening on a week day it was not what I was expecting. It was pretty slow, which I kind of expected, so I thought maybe it would be faster service. But the two staff members did not greet us until 10 mins after we sat at the bar. Then it took a while until we were able to get a menu and then even to order food and drinks. They kinda assumed that we knew what we were going to order. I was pretty disappointed and I dont know if I would go again especially because I was so excited to go. The food was pretty alright.

Tried 3 meals there as of this post (the pics and a really good spicy popper burger). I personally thought the food was comparable to the other top places in Bemidji. Service was good... the front door wasn't obvious, and it is upstairs, but the views and lighting while I was there created a nice atmosphere.
