People bring kids, so sometimes it's noisy.

Fast and friendly service and a good cup of coffee. Might return and sample some of the goodies since it smelled so nice inside the establishment.

1st time here. Staff was very friendly, food was delicious and timely as were the drinks. Had a variety between our group of 3. Vegetarian sandwich, turkey caprese wrap, southwest chicken wrap, scotchie bar (big, 3 of us split it after sandwiches). Great atmosphere!

I have gone back and forth with coming into Cantabria over the years due to the unkind customer service. Today was no different.I ordered my drink, got the total. I didn't pay much attention until I saw the total on the screen. Shocked at the price I asked if that was really my total for 1 drink and why. She answered, "Didn't you hear me say the total?"I explained I hadn't paid much attention. I get coffees often, and have never had 1 drink cost nearly $9. She explained why it cost that much, but still I was shocked.I told her I didn't want to pay that, asked for a refund, and asked if I could order something else. Ordered my drink, she tells me the total, I go to put my card in, and with a little sass she repeats the total, and then asks "is that total ok?". It was just said so rudely said, and I do not understand why she had to speak to me like that. I did reply, "Yes, that total is fine. I just don't want to pay $9 for 1 drink."I don't plan on going back anytime soon.

Cantabria is a cozy little coffee shop. Depending on how busy I am, I either dine in or go through the drive-thru. The service is great on both ends of it.They have a large menu of drinks to choose from, including seasonal options, and if you have dietary needs, there are different milk options as well. My favorite sandwich is the Chipotle sandwich, and the scotcheroo is a very tasty treat. I recommend that if you have the time, to get your sandwich or drink and dine outside in the lovely outdoor dining area. It's along the roadside but still gives you that peaceful atmospheric feeling.

I took my four kids here, the kids all got muffins, and tea, and I got a sandwich, and coffee, they had a box of doninos, and a super comfy couch next to a fire place. The chocolate muffins (which I did try a bite of just because I wanted to try it) were EXTREMELY MOIST almost like they're made with brownie batter? And the pistachio muffins are also very moist and sweet! The sandwich I had was just a vegan sandwich because I wanted to try something new, and it was extremely filling for the size! They DO have a bathroom there, it's just down a hallway through the double doors, which is also extremely clean and well kept! The people who work there are very customer AND CHILD friendly! They have a handicap ramp to get to the eating area and the whole "welcome to my Tuscan mansion" vibe inside the eating area is absolutely adorable. It feels like a fine dining establishment for rich people when you go in there, with the same cozy feeling as a coffeeshop! I only wish they had activities like open mic night and stuff there.Vegetarian options: They do offer vegan food. It's delicious.Kid-friendliness: They could definitely use some friendly donations for toys and kids books if anyone has any laying around to donate. My 4 kids ages 1-7 absolutely loved just playing with the dominos by the fireplace and enjoying their muffins and tea.Wheelchair accessibility: The only thing this place is missing is an automated door or handicap button on the door, they also have a drive thru, which I feel like is never mentioned!!!

Just had the best matcha latte of my life here. And their pistachio muffins are Incredible!! Great atmosphere, kind staff, cozy interior with outlets for getting work done. Only complaint is their WiFi doesn’t reach the patio!

Bemidji's BEST coffee shop, hands down. So before you pull thru Caribou (a fine, but distant second best in town) or go randomly seeking GOOD coffee thru one of the many other random and likely disappointing numerous coffee shops around, stop by Cantabria and enjoy the amazing indoor or outdoor private and cozy settings to seat one or many in comfort and style. Plus, the food is fantastic, great wifi, and they have a consistently spot -on staff. The experience is free, as you won't find these benefits costing you any extra than what a standard coffee shop would charge. Spectacular business model. Amazingly conceived and envisioned into existence.

Coffee was amazing! I tried their special coffee of the month and it was a wonderful treat. My partner ordered a cold brew and said his was equally as good. The service was very fast and the staff was very friendly. What a local gem to have for a nice place to enjoy a coffee!

Cantabria has easily been my favorite place to go for years, the food is always good and the coffee is better than any other place in town that isn't a commercial chain. However they are slow. . . Slow to the point of your coffee getting cold. I can't even begin to count how many times I've gone through the drive thru or walked in on a day where they were slow business wise, with thirty to forty minutes to spare before heading to work that's just a few blocks down, and I'll be late going to work for my one drink. And it's usually because staff are too busy talking to one another, or they're on their phones (you can see them in that back portion of their kitchen even though they're trying to be sneaky). Don't go here unless you have an hour minimum as speed is not their key but they're better than Dunkin
