We always loved going to Dairy Queen when Mike owned it. I have been twice this summer and it just isn't the same. They no longer offer chili dogs or chips, and they don't have fountain soda, only cans. They were out of a lot of ingredients to make stuff. There was one girl taking orders and one girl making things, so I expected the wait to be long. They just didn't seem... happy to see us. When Mike owned it, the workers always said hi and treated you like family. I hope this is just growing pains and things get better.

We are usually very happy with dq, but today was the worst blizzards we have ever had. They were training new staff, someone needs to check before going out. I ordered the turtle pecan. Received blizzard, mostly ice cream, a small amount of Carmel, very small amount of pecans and no chocolate. Hubby had peach cobbler, again hardly anything in it, bottom half was just vanilla ice cream.

The new owners are fantastic. Met them at the soft re-opening. Very friendly people and they are a great addition to Bemidji. Our ice cream was perfect and we can’t wait to see what they do once they get settled. Excited for them to open the Grill & Chill on the other side of town.
