This place is absolutely fantastic! This is a must stop anytime we are near Bemidji. The service is always great, the bbq is my favorite in the state, and lots of different fun drinks. I always get the brisket burrito, scared to try anything else because I love it so much!

I personally think it’s a bad business model to sell out on what you are known for (ribs) every single weekend, and several hours before closing. The last 4 times I have been here they were sold out (6pm, 6pm, 8pm, 7pm)
I liked it.

The food is amazing! Staff have been great when we dine in or take out.
I'm not a fan of pork, so haven't wanted to eat at Fozzies. However, I've found they serve more than BBQ. Their Walleye dinner is excellent. Loved the crispy crust.

We were in Bemidji for a volleyball tournament this past weekend and had to check out Fozzie’s after hearing so many good things. It did not disappoint! The food and service were absolutely amazing. I can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu this place is worth the hour and a half drive from Brainerd!

amazing wings... great sauce's....
Good service from the staff. Not so good of an atmosphere, people had a staring problem but it was dead on a Tuesday around 2pm. Wish I could give the food no star because of how disappointing it was. Ribs? Dry! Brisket? Unflavored! Mac n cheese? Microwaved! Also don’t get the blueberry cheesecake egg rolls, mine were uncooked.

Ribs and brisket had good flavor, but unfortunately both were way over done and dried out. May have been re-cooked from previous day. Service was good and place was very nice.

Had some pulled pork catered for an event. It was absolutely delicious. Ready when they said it would be and friendly service at pick up!
Fozzie’s Smokin Bar BQ in downtown Bemidji is one of our favorite date-night spots. My wife always orders the Brisket Philly and I go for the Brisket Burrito with mac and cheese—both are incredible. It’s about $20 per person before drinks. Their dipping sauce is a must-try and they’ve got a good selection of tap beers and drinks to go with it.
The vibe is relaxed with a cozy, slightly dive-bar feel. It has darker lighting, local art on the walls, and nothing you need to dress up for. Service is handled by friendly college-age staff; it’s casual but gets the job done.
If you’re in Bemidji and love smoky BBQ, these brisket dishes are worth the trip!

Sadly the service came with no smile. The ribs were smoked several hours too long and lacked no flavor that not even the sauce could help. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came from a box. Not sure how they rate at a 4.5?
