We were waiting to be seated about 20-25 minutes by Mary, who had made eye contact a number of times. While seating others. (There were open tables) When we were next, another party came in and got seated immediately. Then I went to get her attention, and she walked right past to help others who were also there after us. Ignoring their comment about seating us before helping them. We left. Wish I could give less that 1 star.

We stopped here after a night out on the town for my soon to be sister-in-law‘s bachelorette night. There was a small weight where we had to sit on a bench outside, I would say about 15 minutes on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty busy, didn’t appear to be very big. The waitress was friendly, and our breakfast arrived pretty quickly. Pretty sure everything is made from scratch there. I had the biscuit and gravy which was amazing! Probably the best I’ve had in MN. Pancakes were good, my friend had a side of bacon pancakes with brown sugar, absolutely delicious! Light and fluffy with delicious savory bacon and just the perfect amount of sweetness….perfection! Even the butter was delicious 😆 I definitely recommend going here!

Very popular restaurant, there were several people waiting for seats but our wait was only 10 minutes or so. Wild rice omelet was very tasty. Hash browns were crisp and buttery. Rye toast was true rye and flavorful. Eggs over medium were perfect. Sourdough toast yummy. The restaurant is nicely decorated inside.

Stopped in for lunch with family on our way up to Warroad. The food was very good. I had a Reuben and was pleasantly surprised that it didn't come with cheap, thinly sliced corned beef. There were thick chunks of it in there. Very good. Service was polite, attentive and quick despite it being so busy.

I'm a huge fan of diners/mom and pop places. Huge. I love the food, the atmosphere, the service.. I love it all.

This one didn't quiiiite do it for me. It was good, please don't get me wrong. But it didn't have a ton of flavor and I legit spent 72 (with tip) for three people to eat BREAKFAST. That is how much I spent the preview night at supper. Yikes.
The coffee was quite a bit burnt.. or the flavor was just one of those that requires cream and sugar (which I normally don't use).

The biscuit and gravy is one giant biscuit, which I wish it would have said that, because I am not a fan of a giant biscuit. You definitely need more gravy for that much fluff.
The bacon wasn't eaten due to how fatty it was.

However, our server was so friendly and full of smiles. She truly was the best part of this experience. My receipt says Angela N.. so if that's correct, shout out to her, she's amazing and I hope you tell her that!

When we pulled up and saw a full parking lot (08:45 on a Sunday) we were expecting a long wait. But we got seated fairly quickly.

The food is every bit as good as it looks in the photos, and the the serving sizes are very generous. Good coffee, good tea. Great service. Nice atmosphere.

The toilet facilities were very nice and clean too. Handicap accessible.

The restaurant was clean. The tables were clean. Can't say enough good things about this place. We're not from Bemidji, but we will be back to eat here again.

Have eaten here several times on our way to MI. I love the Irish Benedict with their in house made corned beef and my husband had the special that day. This place never disappoints. The staff have been working there for years and work like a well oiled machine. Service is always with a smile, orders come out quickly and hot. The portions are large and the coffee is good. What more can a person ask for.

My friend and I came here for breakfast one morning during a long girls weekend at Itasca State Park. All of our food was excellent! We both got omelets and pancakes. I got the Denver Omelet with regular pancakes and a side of fruit and everything tasted great. She got the Wild Rice Omelet with blueberry pancakes and said hers was great, too. I like that they freshly squeeze the OJ here. There was a 10 minute wait at 10am on a Saturday so I take that as a sign this place has great food consistently. The service was excellent, too.
