Always enjoy my meals here! They have a limited breakfast menu, but still great options. The staff is friendly and if you love hearty muffins, get the wild side or espresso chocolate, sooooo good!

I recently visited Wild Hare Bistro and had a mixed experience. While some aspects were satisfactory, a few areas left me feeling less than pleased.Firstly, the service provided by Heather was less than ideal. I felt that her communication was a bit curt, and unfortunately, I perceived some comments about my clothing choices that I found uncomfortable. I believe customer service is crucial, and it would be beneficial for the staff to maintain a more professional demeanor. The food, on the other hand, was okay but didn't quite meet my expectations. I found it to be somewhat mediocre, and I believe there is room for improvement in terms of taste and presentation.Lastly, I sensed an overall vibe from the employees that left me feeling unwelcome. It's important for a business to make customers feel valued and appreciated.I hope this feedback can be taken constructively, as I believe there's potential for improvement in various aspects of the customer experience at Wild Hare.

The Wild Hare is my absolute favorite place to get food in town. I lived in Bemidji for 18 years, and now every time I go back, stopping here is top of my list. The only thing that I love more than their soups and sandwiches are the desserts. The staff are also always friendly. My top recommendations: Turkey with a Twist sandwich, Lemon Bar, and Pumpkin Bar.

Quaint Cafe. Order at the counter. Coffee is good. Atmosphere is great with lots of windows...a nice place to meet a friend and grab something delishous to eat. Yummy muffins and sweet breads. Breakfast/lunch. Rotation of local artists displaying on the walls. Not sure why the food and coffee was served on a paper plate and cup. Would recommend.

My favorite place in Bemidji for lunch: great soup specials, unique (at least for BJI) sandwich offerings, and the best coffee and baked goods in town. On top of this, they have stellar service in a laid back, friendly atmosphere. I’ve been going here for years, and as long as the current ownership holds, I’ll be coming back!

This is off the main street but so worth seeking. The staff is the best, the good is amazing and the cost is competitive. I have been a patron since they opened. I recommend the breakfast burrito and the uptown scone. Best Chai in

Stopped in for a post-campground coffee and a savory scone. Both were delicious and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Seriously, get the scone.

Food was delicious, fresh & clean. Plating was good. Portion size was good. Atmosphere was ok. Food was served at the right temperature. The smoothie was not to our liking, lacking smoothness and flavor.Overall the food is good, but considering the lack of service, the prices are a bit ridiculous. Wait times at the counter were also longer than they should be.If you can’t prepare a decent sandwich at home, have time on your hands or you have money to waste, eat here.

This corner bistro is a gem. Handcrafted sandwiches and brewed coffee drinks that are worth seeking out. The atmosphere is quaint, we saw quite a bit of takeout although we ate in. The sandwich. Sandwich ingredients are fresh and served with either chips or a delightful fruit medley side. It's worth noting that the bread felt like it came right out of the oven, warm and fresh on all of our sandwiches. We are bikers who visit annually and make sure to plan a stop at this lunch location.

Well! Too bad. I was a regular at the Wild Hare Bistro & Coffeehouse, just about every day!

Today, the owner happened to be in. I accidentally knocked a picture off the wall near the backdoor while waiting for coffee. The owner comes over and I apologized.

He grabs it from my hand and says, "I guess"

For real???? When my coffee was finally brought out to me and I asked the older lady in back who that was. She says the owner. I said he was rude. She simply replies, "Yeah, and?"

As the owner walks up, I told him he didn't have to be rude and that I'm an everyday customer. He fixed the frame and acts as if nothing happened.

Dude. I apologized for it and I was willing to pay for it before he walked away so rudely! Not cool. Not cool at all.

Don't spend your money there, guys!!
