Food was alright, but portions, especially potatoes, seemed a little small. Our server seemed preoccupied that night.

Always friendly and super delicious food! Salad bar is always fresh and a go to. If you are looking for the best broasted chicken in MN, check Lake Cafe out on Wednesday. It's of the buffet that night with all the sides you could want. Great staff and supporting local!

Excited about home cooking. Ordered hot beef expecting gravy with pan dripping, got powdered brown gravy mix over instant potatoes and the roast beef was kinda tasteless. My grandson had a burger and fries with he enjoyed.

Best food portion sizes in town. Place has an amazing small home town feel. Had brunch with my son after not being here since before covid. We used to frequent often. Nice to see Rachel still there. She was super rushed/busy. I love the remodel. Son loved his burger and side salad. I had my favorite, the Mexican omelet. I'm only saddened because I wasn't aware you needed to say xl to get the bigger portion. Also, I suggest automatically including salsa and sour cream on the side with that option. I am looking forward to my next visit. Thank You ?Parking: Easy access and ample spotsKid-friendliness: Love the options for all ages!

The server was friendly and kind. The salad bar was a great variety of healthy options. I liked the coffee pot all to myself.

The service was excellent!! The food was lukewarm. Expected more when you're paying almost $15 for lunch per person.

Everything was amazing.. the bus boy made the visit rememberable ... his dedication to his job, the smile on his face doing it and his manners were amazing. Keep up the great job.

Went for breakfast this morning around 930a. Wasnt' very busy due to the cold i'm guessing. Sat down, no one came to our table. Saw servers not busy as well as the owner just talking with servers. After approx 5 min got up and went over to ask if we could get menus of which I got a "I was on my way over!' We ordered and got coffee and the buffet. About 15min after we started eating, we watched as more people arrived that must have been regulars as the servers were at their table before they even took their coats off. Kind of ridiculous. Buffet was ok I other than pancakes were cold. Unfortunately this is about the 3rd or 4th time we have gone here to eat(only breakfast) and the food was cold(not buffet) or service was slow. Especially when it cost $33 for breakfast. But today was the last time we will going here as there are other breakfast places that are much better!

I'm here on a very busy Sunday morning I mean this place is jumping like a juke joint. Customer service so far is just ok I think the waitress is a bit unpleasant this morning I'm not gonna say she racist because if it was this busy and I was working I would probably have a slight attitude too lol. The food coming out of the kitchen looks great though. I did notice they have a buffet but its over at 1130 and it's already after 11 so I'll just pass on that this time. I ordered a breakfast poutine with a pancake and my girlfriend ordered a country omelette so we're just waiting on that as I type this. My girlfriend suggested this place so if it sucks it's her fault but if you read this review I'll keep it real about the food. So after eating my food here is my take...the poutine was freaking amazing I absolutely loved it my only gripe is that they fried the cheese curds but tomato tomaato is was still the bomb. The pancake was mid at best while it was light fluffy and huge the flavor was a lotta light lol meaning it lacked flavor. But I don't really like pancakes but I was really craving one. Overall I had a pretty nice dining experience and would definitely come back or refer someone to come here.

My husband and I, went here for the first time. We don't live around the area. Everyone seem very nice and the Atmosphere was warm and open . I felt like people were friendly if you were around there. Our waitress was around much, she seem kinda unhappy but when I watch her with others she had a smile on her face, when she came to our table to take our order she would leave to do something else before finishing our order. I just didn't feel welcome there. The food was good. Had alot of different food choices. My husband had the buffet, he said it was good, but the American fries were little over done. It was little weird to see how close the buffet was to the main door. Over all a very cute restaurant.
