We were fortunate to find a keg of Oktoberfest for a party last weekend and had nothing but compliments from everyone. Just wanted to share that. Keep making good beer!!

Workers are great awesome food trucks bean bag tournaments etc cold beer which are delicious definately must try every flavor!!!!

Lupulin Brewing is a great brewery in Big Lake MN. They have a nice but not huge tap room, decent patio, and a large event space where I believe they may be adding a kitchen. They had a great variety of beers with several on my favorite styles. Beers for my stop included: a wild ale, fruited sour, marionberry fruited sour, strawberry/rhubarb sour, beer/wine hybrid, smoked beer, lime lager, lager, amber lager, Czech lager, Belgian blonde, Belgian quad, 3 American IPAs, black IPA, 2 hazy IPAs, 2 pale ales, Double Hazy IPA, festbier, oktoberfest, doppelbock, Czech dark lager, porter, stout, and an Imperial double stout. The stouts and porter were good, the doppelbock was definitely average and the Belgian quad was on point and my personal favorite. They also have several additional beers in cans and bottles, including many BIG beers. Lupulin is clearly proud of big barrel aged beers, they celebrate them for a full week every spring.

My beertender was was super friendly, many staff took time to talk to me about the brewery. I loved my stop here. I rarely find a brewery that i will drive 5 hours just to visit a second time, this may be one of them.

Best brewery I've been to. Awesome selection so there's always something tasty on tap regardless of what you like. Staff has always been great and they will let you sample so you don't have to purchase an entire beer before knowing if you'll like it. CPB nitro was the best beer ever, I'm praying they bring that back. There are often food trucks for food. I highly recommend.

It’s no wonder Lupulin is always busy, and why it’s insanely popular around the state. My husband and I came after a hike nearby, and we’re glad we did. We always have great service and even better beer. Today, I had the N.A. tropical fun pants and the DDH Blissful Ignorance, both were great! And my husband had a Lupulin Light Lime, which he throughly enjoyed—my big takeaway is that you can’t really go wrong, whether you want something super hoppy, N.A., or something light and summery.

Also just want to shoutout Joni and Jack, our beer tenders. It was busy at 3:30 on a Friday (no wonder 😊) but they both treated us really well. Joni was really helpful in getting us the right beer choice, and during a more quiet moment, Jack, my husband, and I had a really great conversation about the beer scene in Minnesota.

Lupulin is popular for a reason—they have a great soul, wonderful beer, and an incredible team. If you’re in Big Lake or at your local liquor store, I highly, highly recommend giving Lupulin your business. You will be happy you did!
