Excellent brisket that fell apart when you tried to pick it up. Delicious ribs, better than OMC if you are from Duluth. This exceeded our expectations.

We were going to have deviled eggs for appetizers but they were out. We opted for rib tips. What was lesser in fat and bones was good, the sauce was not very outstanding. For meals I had a 1/3 and 1/3 of Chicken and brisket. My friend had 8 bones. Both as meals. The chicken was very dry. The brisket was good. The ribs were mostly tender and sauced nicely per my friends review. The table could have used some topping BBQ, neither the brisket nor the chicken came with it. The sides were very plentiful. I had beans and slaw, my friend had beans and cream corn. The beans and corn were very good. The slaw is very plain. The meals came with cornbread and cinnamon butter which was good. For 2pm on a Saturday it was very quiet. Only one staff for the whole place so she was spread thin with 6-7 tables at the most. Overall I would say "I wouldn't not bring another friend in".

I’ve known Neighbor’s BBQ since their previous location, that was 4 miles south of Peyla on H-169. I’ve came to make an honest review about this restaurant that is now located in the Giants ridge area and apart of the lodge.
SERVICE: [??????? ??? ????, ???!] I came here on a Saturday evening, 2-3 hours before closing and there was one waiter who was “rushing around”, getting orders from multiple tables and she had a positive mood towards us and others. It seemed kind of stressful for her and how much people were actually eating as well.
FOOD: [???? ????’? ??? ??????????, ??? ??? ???.] I ordered the “Neighbor’s House burger” for around $15.00 (and chose well done for the cooking.) And the burger wasn’t too bad as it didn’t taste old or undercooked, but the patty meat was cooked as how it should be. The burger is like a 6-7/10 if you’ve had other burgers in your life. Also the fries weren’t crispy enough but still edible.
ATMOSPHERE: [????? ??????? ??? ???!] The restaurant has the fitting setting for the “Giant’s ridge” look, and that’s good. BUT! It was hot inside (80°F and higher for feeling) and I heard multiple guests complain about how hot is it too.
OVERALL: I would recommend if the heat wasn’t an issue here but I hope they’ll take it into consideration of making this place cool and not hot.
Parking: This is Giant’s ridge, it will get busy, especially in the parking lot.

Do not waste your time driving out here the food portions are very small and cuts of meats are horrible my dad had the 8 piece ribs with corn bread and some sort house cream corn the ribs were extremely under cooked and super fatty with cartridge on them the corn bread was like it was just mixed and turned to powder dust when biting into it I never complain at a restaurant but I had to this was unacceptable they offered me only 8 dollars off our total bill which was basically like f u truthfully 50 off a least would have been maybe acceptable being I couldn't eat any of this garbage my son have the combo plate with the same corn and corn bread he said the beans were OK the brisket was good but it was only like 2 small 3inch piece he had to laugh two of his ribs were ok one was the same as mine I could Say more but why waste my time I'm just don't waste yours

I have waited a long time to write a review on Neighbor's BBQ Co. Here are my thoughts. My main criteria when going out for BBQ is that they can make BBQ at least as good and hopefully, better than what I can do at home. I have tried their ribs, chicken, pulled pork, brisket and wings. The ribs, chicken, pulled pork and wings are usually at least as good as what I do myself so, they get a thumbs up. Their brisket, however, that needs work. Brisket is usually my favorite thing to order when I go for BBQ but I don't bother anymore when I go to Neighbor's BBQ. Their brisket is not much better than just having sliced roast beef and it's way too expensive to not be top notch. I hate to have to give a mixed review because I am very thankful to even have a decent BBQ place near Biwabik.
Great experience, Ashley was awesome, provided our group with great service. We will definitely return.

Unquestionably, the best barbecue in Minnesota. The brisket stacker is unreal. It’s possibly the best brisket sandwich in the entire United States (not question MN). This is agreed by 11 of my friends I’m with. The only problem with this restaurant is they haven’t entered more national competitions to prove it to others.
Aside from that, the employees and wait staff are great. We had an excellent time and can’t wait to come back.

Everything was amazing, accept the coleslaw... There was no dressing on it, it was just straight dry cabbage. The creamed corn is to die for!!! I went for my birthday and it was my first time. However, no birthday dessert is offered, but they do offer candles if you bring your own cake. I will be back, I just won't get the coleslaw, I'll get a different side. I wanted BBQ for birthday meal, and it was a 95% out of 100% for sure!
I was with a group of 22 that had made a reservation at 6:15. They said they could handle a big group as Wednesday nights were slow and they would take orders in groups of five. After half of the people had ordered, the rest were told they were out of ribs. I was able to get them and they were good, but the mac& cheese was not. Then their computer system went down and they lost many of the food orders. One person never got his food. The wait staff were doing as best they could but getting food out took way too long. Naturally it took forever get our bills. When some people decided to go to the bar after dinner, they found that the bartender had left at 8:00 even though the bar is supposed to be open until 10:00.

Felt like it was a hospital cafeteria. Roll of paper towels just sitting on table, wings were dry with little chicken hairs sticking out, didn’t see server for 25 minutes, took a knife off the other table because we were waiting for one. Fries and veggie burger were fine.
