I was very eager and excited to try the African food place I just found in the area. Sadly I don’t like to write bad comments, but with my experience today I didn’t receive much excitement from the women at the front counter. She didn’t seem like she wanted to serve me. We order a FUFU with chicken from the kiosk. Took 35-40 minutes just to get our food, she was having a long conversation with others at the front counter while packing our one dish in a bag. I felt very heartbroken, and sort of being treated with rudeness.
We got home and the meat was not chicken. Most likely will not be coming back.
Where do i start? Professionalism, hospitality, class and food authenticity!!! Big shout out to JTC, Cameroon and all of West Africa also the owner a Beautiful and Respectable woman. She personally prepared my food as I do not eat meat only fish. Many items are to order as is and she made an exception for me. I had a fried whiting fish on spinach covered in a flavorful medium hot red sauce with added bell pepper, onion and a side FuFu. The food I cannot share because it is out of this world lbs “its gone”. I’ve been eating African dishes for many years this is the one. Stop by and experience JTC inside of Northtown mall you will love it!!!
The best authentic African cuisine in town. Everything on the menu is delicious 🤤
So kind and helpful! Thank you!
I love this place can’t express it enough. That authentic taste with every bite really takes the cuisine to a whole new level. Great Workers! Would recommend
Best food i have tasted ever. I was confused on what food to choose. Jollof rice, okra soup. Omg. Visit JTC you will not regret it
Food is very good
Service is excellent
Owner is very nice
Yes this restaurant is in the mall so you will have to walk a little but it will be worth it. I ordered the jollof combo with moi moi and when I tell you that as soon as I opened my plate of jollof, just from the aroma alone I knew it was a good evening. When I say party jollof standard, the moi moi was so delicious too, very smooth and cooked just right. Give this place a try!!!
I was visiting from Chicago and wanted to try Nigerian food. I was skeptical about places I was seeing it. I decided to come here because it was close to me. I’m so happy I did. The food tasted so authentic. I was very pleasantly surprised. If you live in the area or visiting and want a good Nigerian food, highly recommend.
I don’t know if anybody else had the same experience as me trying the eguosi soup, but it literally tasted like a slaughtered barn animal. I’ve never tasted that before in my life. Not knocking African food cause I’m sure different places make it differently but that was terrible.

Got the ogbono soup last week and now I'm hooked on going here! I've tried other African restaurants and they are so bland. I loved how flavorful the soup was. I am definitely going to be a returning customer!!! 👍🏾👍🏾🥰🥰😍😍
