“One of the best sushi spots in the north metro! Their happy hour menu makes getting sushi more affordable and the quality and portions are not lacking. Warm and professional staff. Calm atmosphere. They even brought out our toddler’s food before the sushi was complete, and that speaks volumes to me. Their salmon and spicy tuna rolls are exceptional. But, every roll we’ve tried, we’ve loved! Highly recommend and will be dining in again soon.”

“Bricks is one of our go-to spots, my husband and I are there monthly, and for good reason. The bar setup is awesome, the service is always top-notch, and the menu never misses. We know we’re getting incredible food every time, which keeps us coming back. The pizza and burgers? Unbeatable. The truffle fries? An absolute must. And if you haven’t tried the corn dip yet, do yourself a favor and order it... it’ll be a permanent starter in your rotation after one bite. Every visit leaves us happy and satisfied, and the consistently great experience is why we love Bricks so much. Huge thanks to the team for always delivering!”

“My son and I stopped in for dinner as I had a gift card to use. Our server Andrea was wonderful! We ordered our food and it arrived looking great! My son liked his salad a lot and my Rueben, while not traditional, was tasty. I was sadly less than impressed with the Maple Bacon Brussels I got with my sandwich and let Andrea know. She let her manager know right away and they both were SO kind and thanked me for letting them know my concerns. They offered us a piece of chocolate cake (which was super yummy!) to make up for the side not being so great. Amazing customer service! We will be back!”

“Ever since I’ve tried fufu and egusi soup, I’ve become addicted! I’ve also done some research on egusi itself, and it has so many nutritional benefits ranging from protein, magnesium, vitamins, calcium, fiber, and so much more. On top of that, it is insanely delicious. ESPECIALLY from here! I called for takeout and the owner had a last batch that they so kindly saved for me. She even offered me to come later for a fresh new batch, but I’m more than happy with what they already had prepared. Im not too sure how the traffic is in Northtown mall since I haven’t been there in quite some time, but I hope it’s busy enough and wish the owners all the success in the world. “First time here. Had the steak sandwich. I would rate it 6.5 to 7. The sandwich was good other than the fact the ciabatta literally fell apart in my hands as I was eating it, 2nd bite the entire bottom and top were in pieces. It tasted very green because there wasnt much aoli. If there was more aoli and the sandwhich didnt fall apart on the second bite I would rate it a 10. The frites were amazing, the employees were very kind as well. ❤️ Will be back to try other things :)”

“Ate at Oliver’s for the first time this morning. Not good. First had the supposedly spicy Bloody Mary. Not spicy at all, not worth $8.99. And I don’t prefer real spicy. Next had the eggs Benedict. OMG I could have fit both eggs on one half of the muffin and still not covered it. The ham, if that’s what you want to call it was something I’ve never seen before, thinner than bacon and tough. The hollandaise sauce was the worst. It is better in the pkg from the grocery store. Will never be back. The staff was very nice.”

“So, I’ve had unpredictable bouts of constipation throughout my life. I remember receiving enemas that were meant for elderly individuals when I was 8 or 9. When I attended this restaurant, I haven’t had a bowel movement in around 2-3 days. Previously before that I required stimulant laxatives, which creates muscle contractions to force waste out of your anus. I tried a basic cheeseburger with a side of fries, and a raspberry peach iced tea. As soon as I finished my meal, I felt it. The rumbling that signals such an impending cloud of doom in your stomach, causing your heart to metaphorically drop 50 feet from my chest. I drove home, as I didn’t feel it appropriate to require Perkins to call in a biohazard crew to wall off the women’s restroom. Immediately I rushed down to the toilet, and unleashed hell. 3 days worth of regularly eaten-and-digested goodness exploded out of my bottom like a flood gate- It was indescribable the stench, it could probably harm a small child. Like not normal fecal matter, something radioactive and potent enough to kill a rodent. It was half liquid and half solid as it endlessly exited it’s swollen, dark tomb. I have never felt such relief, and from the most unlikely of places. Thank you, Perkins. May our stars cross again someday when I need to take a giant gorilla dump.”

“Well, let's see. I thought it was going to be like a sit-down, relax restaurant. Take your time. Might take a little while for your food to come out. Our server, Ashley, was nice. Quick to come take our order, quick to offer a refill when the beverage ran out. Our meals came out so quickly, though. It felt like not even 20 minutes went by after we placed the order and BAM meals arrive. They must've read my order incorrectly. I said no bleu cheese and it came out with bleu cheese. They brought it back and then like 20 minutes later, brought me a new plate. It looked like they just scraped the side dishes from the original plate to the new plate. They were cold where the extra butter I ordered didn't even melt. The waffle fries on my wife's plate, in my opinion, were cold or old. Wife said they were fine. Service was great! Ashley provided a little discount since they messed up my order. Food on the other hand, felt more like a quick service restaurant versus a sit-down, relax restaurant. No offers for dessert. I didn't even see a dessert menu or on the main menu. This really wasn't the best experience, but not the worst experience. I only recommend Clive's because Ashley was so quick and friendly. For the rest, no I would NOT recommend Clive's.”

For $15.00 I made my own bowl, with shrimp, spicy tuna, soba noodles, kimchi, seaweed salad, cucumbers, tomatoes, red onion, edamame, tempura flakes And a mix of spicy mayo and poke sauce: omg the best sunny day treat!! Highly recommend!”

“The yum yum sauce and ginger sauce are made in house and definitely stand out additions that elevates the meal without overpowering the food. Both are packed with flavor and pair perfectly with the hibachi steak and fried rice. The steak was savory, tender, and cooked just right, while the fried rice brought everything together for a satisfying meal. The sauces take the whole experience to another level, especially when you dip the steak in the ginger and pour a little bit of the yum yum sauce over the rice. If you’re a fan of hibachi, this is definitely worth trying. Sushi is made to order on their sushi line. You can see through their sushi display case a variation of vibrant colors showcasing the freshness of the ingredients they use. I’ll be back for more!”

“We’ve been drinking Split Rock Coffee’s Breakfast blend for several years now and we won’t buy anything else. Amazing flavor and no greasy residue leftover to clog up the coffee maker either. Just wonderful, clean coffee that’s roasted to perfection when you order and arrives quickly. The flavor profiles are spot on too. Just get it…if you enjoy a great cup of coffee you won’t be disappointed!”

“This is a new hot pot place in Blaine located in the new Asia Village complex building at the Northtown mall. It’s the best hot pot place I’ve had, in all the states I’ve travelled to. Everyone in a party gets their own broth, not a giant hot pot style where people share, which is ideal for cooking time and individual food restrictions/allergies. It was also not hot, steamy, or smelly inside which was great.

There was so much thought put into the convenience and experience for the customer. Other places I’ve been to charge extra for drinks, broth flavor, dessert, etc. Here, there is a cold and hot bar available for appetizers, greens, desserts, fruit, sauces, and a stocked beverage fridge with anything you could want to drink. It’s all included in the price.

There is a 15% service charge on all bills, which I think is more than fair considering how much work the wait staff does for you over the course of two hours. It is not an iPad ordering system, you place your order with your server. We were never left waiting when we wanted to order more. Our orders came very, very quickly with a robot and a server.

There is an all you can eat Korean BBQ menu alongside the hot pot for an additional price. We didn’t do that, though customers who did seemed to enjoy it. There is more than enough room on the table for everyone to have their broths, ingredients, and BBQ if wanted.

My only request would be to add soy puffs, basil, and milk buns to the menu. We will definitely be coming again!”

Service was very good, our server was very attentive. However, my country fried steak and eggs plate left something to be desired. Portion was good, but the hash browns and eggs were incredibly dry. Seemed like they used little to no oil or butter to fry them up. The country gravy helped a little but still couldn’t finish them. The steak was tue best part, which is what you’d expect. My wife got the sunrise chili crunch bowl was much better; big portion, good flavor. We’d still come back to give another try but the St Louis Park location is better.”
