Carol's Reviews
I’ve been a regular since they moved to Blaine. I ordered the lettuce wraps. The lettuce was a delicate bib lettuce and wet, huge chunks of red cabbage, large Julianne carrots. Made it impossible to eat wrapped. Told the server. She offered to get me more lettuce. No thank you. Won’t order again. The quality is not the same as when Carol owned it.
The rolls did not taste like they used to. They lacked molasses & spices that gave them a really good taste.
The mashed potatoes were not fully mashed. About half was one lump.

Made from scratch everyday. Use organic ingredients.

Carol's is a unique and fantastic restaurant that offers a delightful dining experience. The menu features a variety of diner-style comfort foods, including delicious salads, burgers, and a wide selection of desserts. The friendly staff and warm atmosphere create a community marketplace feel that makes Carol's a truly special place.
The restaurant has received mixed reviews recently. Some customers felt the rolls lacked the usual molasses and spices, and the mashed potatoes were not fully mashed. However, others praised the exceptional tomato basil soup, perfect Reuben sandwich, and generously portioned desserts. The restaurant is particularly beloved for its breakfast and dessert offerings, though some guests find the lunch and dinner menu a bit boring. The meatloaf commercial has also been noted as very good, with excellent service.
The restaurant features a cute shop, and the owners have been praised for their kind and welcoming service. Though the stuffing has been described as underwhelming, the atmosphere is good, resembling a country diner. Carol's remains a delightful gem that is well worth a visit, especially for those seeking a comforting and homey dining experience.
