My son and I stopped in for dinner as I had a gift card to use. Our server Andrea was wonderful! We ordered our food and it arrived looking great! My son liked his salad a lot and my Rueben, while not traditional, was tasty. I was sadly less than impressed with the Maple Bacon Brussels I got with my sandwich and let Andrea know. My girlfriend and I came to The Tavern Grill for date night and Amy treated us with the upmost kindness and gratitude! The food was amazing of course, but Amy convinced us, we would definitely come back!

The Tavern Grill Blaine is a decent, run of the mill restaurant that is consistently mediocre, making it good for groups. It can be a little too expensive and a little too 'wants to be fancy but misses the mark'. Expect to make reservations, and during busier times it is not a quiet environment. However, the food and drinks can be amazing. Highly recommended meals include the Walleye fingers, The Trio appetizer (with chips and queso dip, dry rub wings, and artichoke dip), ribeye steaks, beef, chicken, and salmon dishes. The wild rice soup and French dip sandwich are also very good. For drinks, the Espresso martinis and mules are fantastic. The Key lime pie is a yummy treat. The service is what really stands out, with staff who are kind, attentive, and welcoming. One server is an absolute delight, ambitious, smart, and well mannered. Another team was attentive to a large group and provided a fun evening over delicious food. The restaurant has a comfortable setting with a contemporary supper club vibe. It is recommended with the suggestion to manage expectations.
