Macarons were very sugary and flavors weren't as pronounced as expected. Most of them tasted nearly identical. Texture was great for the most part and customer service was lovely. Probably won't be back

Not much of a macaron person, but omg, these were so good. ? They almost just melted in your mouth. I had the chocolate-mint and fudge macarons, and they were so good. I live like 40-ish minutes away, but I would definitely make the hour-&-20-minute trip just for these.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free cupcakes
Had a lot of flavors and the flavor itself was good. service was mediocre, we went on a Saturday and I’m not sure of the Macarons were a day old but they were pretty hard and crunchy. I bought 10 for myself and 5 for a gift and I feel bad gifting it not knowing they’d be hard. The lemon was probably the best out of what we got, not as hard.I love Something Sweet by Maddie Lu, we’ve bought all our kids birthday cakes so kind of disappointed this wasn’t the same quality.

Macarons by Maddie Lu in Blaine near the National Sports Center and in the same strip as Clive's RoadHouse is a tasty sweet shop I had never tried until yesterday. I'm glad I did! The place has a simple and cute design. It's clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. My family and I ordered five macaroons flavored caramel apple, hazelnut, pistachio, and cookie dough. While all of them tasted good - cooked perfectly and sweet they did lack the flavor they stated they were. The only one that tasted somewhat like what it said it was the cookie dough which was very blue in color and unfortunately turned our entire mouth blue! Toothpaste easily took care of that though. I'd still buy them again because we thought they were tasty. In addition to the macaroons I ordered a regular cannoli and an apple crunch cannoli. The regular was good but the apple one was amazing! It was sort of like apple crisp dessert but as a cannoli. Delicious! They are a little pricy but for an occasional treat not terribly so.
I have had macaroons, cupcakes and ice cream from here. absolutely delicious!

Amazing!! Every macaron flavor we have tried has been delicious - especially the dragonfruit, caramel vanilla, & smores! This new location is so cute and the staff are always friendly - and extremely patient when my kiddo is trying to decide what to order! Highly recommend!

Perfect location! They had a huge variety of macaron flavors and tons of other dessert options as well. Fast service and we were able to take a fun family picture in front of the "photo op" cute wall! Everything, as expected since we have been purchasing from Something Sweet for a long time, tastes amazing!

Good atmosphere good service, but bought 2 boxes of Christmas cookies over a dozen,every single one was hard dry and stale. Poor bakery,poor products.
