Food was good. Breakfast pancakes, sausage, and good portion of hash browns. Good normal American comfort food. Service person checked on us three times. She seemed attentive and receptive. Atmosphere is what you expect from your neighborhood bar and grill. Reminds me of playing on three different softball teams and going after the games to get the Mountain Dew and food or most people I guess would be a beer. That kind of place for good friendships and teammates is what it reminded me of.

A lot of reviews so I had to weigh in on what are my thoughts of this place. Service was prompt but server seemed to be a little distracted. Food came out in a timely fashion. Ordered the Nachos, Pot Stickers, Country Fried Steak and the Triple decker club sandwich. Everything was just ok. Country fried steak was processed meat that probraly came frozen and just dropped in a fryer. Pretty much everything seems to be out of a freezer. If you're expecting scratch made food, you're in for a big surprise. Not saying it was nasty, just not what I expected from a place with high reviews. Expect good, but nothing to rave about that will excite you to go back. Tried and most likely will never go back.

Great service, the food portions are generous, and the price is reasonable. It's a nice bar atmosphere. I come here several times a year, never disappointed. The attached picture is the eggs Benedict, it was excellent.

Restrictive karaoke, as a friend was banned from Ole Piper Inn for his song choice, while bartender sang racy song while children were present. Hypocrital?!?Kid-friendliness: Good place to take kiddos for breakfast or lunch, as the food is great, but it is a bar atmosphere in the evening, so best to leave kids at home and let adults have fun!

The food is never a disappointment. Highly recommend the Benedict ConQueso... it's one of my favorites, along with the Buffalo Chicken Wrap!They also have great pizza (homemade).
