Our table didn't receive fantastic service. However, the Ribs and Chicken dinner was fantastic and well worth the 45 minute wait, I could come back again to order that. Off of taste alone that was an easy 5/5. Hopefully we would have better overall service if we come back.

We were there on January 6, 2024, sat at a HORRIBLE! Sat at a table for at least 10 minutes without being acknowledged the waitress talked to THREE tables right around us. She then grabbed empty glasses off OUR table, still did not even acknowledge us! sat for another 10 minutes being ignored, horrible service.! The tables in the back or so crammed together you can’t even walk between them!

The Sergeant John Rice VFW is very awesome ?? Everything revolves around the patrons! The veterans as well as all patron are treated with respect! There are many specials such as happy hours for drink and food, meat raffles, horse races, karaoke ?, bands and music etc.. etc. Customer service and the overall atmosphere is fabulous! I wish I could get in there more often as it is such a Funtime! It's so easy to make new friends at the VFW! I met some of my best friends at this fine establishment! Thumbs up ??

We arrived at 4pm when kitchen opened on Thurs. Had a great waitress who took our drink order. She talked about the menu and we all ordered broasted chicken but I added ribs to mine. Only one bar drink and it was well made. It took a little bit to do chicken, made fresh. It came with cranberry bread wrapped. A side and Cole slaw. We were the only ones in dining room but the bar had many as they had meat raffle that evening. They have an extensive menu. Will try again.

Great food and amazing staff. The beers were cold and the food was hot. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Might be our new go to for a gold ol’ fashioned meal.

I was told drink specials and free shots winky face and I was forced to pay full price on the servers mistake and then I said something and the server got mad at me . I would stay away from this place

Go eat their chicken !! Too die for! Service is slow, but worth the wait. Awesome people who work there. Adding more staff would help. They need to do some advertising!

Fun to go when they book bands. It's a little crowded between the tables. They are a little slow on the getting the drinks in that room but the staff works really hard and are hustling and good-natured. There was a snafu with the new food system while we were there and it took two and a half hours to get meals, which actually came out with the wrong orders in the end, but they comped those. Parking is close by if you get there early, if it's a large crowd you're going to need to park in the church parking lot nearby which is a little hard to navigate to and a little bit of a walk. Biggest complaint is while we were dancing to the last song of the night they cleared our tables and several of us had brand new drinks. They do not announce last call and they do not announce that they are going to be clearing the tables while you are dancing. This has happened twice now and should not be policy. When there are coats at your chair they should not be taking your drinks while you're dancing. I still give them four stars because it's a fun time and I think they mean well.
