Our business lunch experience was great from start to finish. The service was outstanding! We look forward to being back again soon.

Fantastic steakhouse, strongly recommended! The food menu is mouthwatering and quite varied. The staff member Paul was friendly and have a good notion of what hospitality means. Can't go wrong with this restaurant.

What a hidden gem! Most people don't even know it exists. The service was great, the food delicious and the ambience perfect for a New Year's Eve dinner! Try it and be amazed!
Dead flowers on table, lights not on outside of building, prime rib medium rare served rare. For the prices what a complete joke, I will never be back. Desert
totally uninspired. Run the other way.

went to the thanksgiving buffet which was $60 a plate plus a mandatory 20% service fee. They set up a makeshift buffet right in the middle of the lobby where people were checking in and coming/going with luggage. The food was horrendous. The stuffing/mashed potatoes tasted like it was instant powder mixed with water, deserts were subpar, prime rib undercooked and they would only give u a razor thin slice. Literally the worst buffet i had ever been to

Thanksgiving buffet was absolutely wonderful. The food was delicious and well stocked, people were very careful with the tongs and all the food stations were clean. Our server was incredibly nice (especially given that it was a holiday) and we left full and happy with our decision to not cook this year. Thanks Chophouse!

We came for the Thanksgiving buffet and were surprised that the spread was immediately by the entrance hallway, next to check in (see pic) -where it seemed like anyone could grab a plate and help themselves to a very expensive buffet. Even with a reservation we were seated by the bar (not the nice tables in pictures) but it was closer to the buffet : bring your salt and seasonings. Mashed potatoes tasted out of the box, mixed vegetables were overcooked with no spices, turkey and roast beef were equally as dry with no bowl to put the juice or horseradish. Salad was fresh but that’s very hard to mess up. Desserts were hidden around the corner and presentation was subpar. We were charged 20% gratuity for a large party of three & with taxes this meal was not worth it at all. Service disappeared and we had to wait over 20 minutes for refills on water. This did not feel like a nice holiday meal and if this is an example of the rest of their menu save you $ and go elsewhere. This did not create a special memory and the food was bland and nondescript. If you want to have a dining experience where you are out in the middle of the lobby check in area, sit in bar perpendicular to the kitchen and restroom area, and pay top dollar for tasteless food then this is the place for you.

The service was friendly, it was nice to have both delicious turkey and juicy prime rib for the Thanksgiving buffet, and there were several options for dessert. The only thing we were disappointed about was the pumpkin pie did not contain milk so it wasn't creamy. Overall, we were happy to dine there for the holiday.
Do not book this location for any holiday event, in this case, we came for the Thanksgiving buffet. Your buffet will not be in a separate private room- instead you will be met with buffet tables by the check in counter and a meat cutting area poorly lit underneath the stairwell with easy access to plates and any random person can pick up a plate and help themselves. You will also need to bring condiments as the horseradish and gravy is not enough to soften the overcooked dry roast beef and turkey white breast. Dark meat is not offered. If you enjoy oysters and shrimp and deli meats and cheeses then this option might prove reasonable to your hefty price tag- the steamed vegetables and bland mashed potatoes seemed more appropriate in a soup kitchen where everything is cooked en masse without any spices besides butter. If your palate is used to bland food and your pocket is used to dropping over $100 for a party of two then this is what you can expect from this location that even had the audacity to sit customers in the bar area (like us) adjacent to the kitchen and restrooms. Our party came exclusively to the Chop House for a delectable holiday experience away from home and left with an extremely disappointing joyless non-festive feeling as even the service was subpar (no refills in a timely fashion had to wait 15minutes) and unjustifiable, non-optional 20% gratuity. Please consider other locations as you will leave with nothing but a feeling of ‘yuck' -why is the buffet in the hallway? -why was I seated at bar area? - why is the food so dry? I kept my opinions to myself as I didn't want to bring my complaints to manager in front of my party but unknowing guests should read this review and decide if you really want to pay for this very unpleasant experience.

Food wasn't great and we didn't care for the variety. My Daughter and I were sick for almost 3 days afterwards.
Tonight we had an issue with our vehicle after running into debris on the highway from an accident just ahead of us. Our vehicle sustained damage and couldn’t be driven and we had to await help. It was freezing cold and we’d stopped our car in the parking lot of a Hilton Hotel. I took my three little daughters into the hotel and then decided to keep them occupied with desserts at the Bloomington Chophouse House. Our waiter was so incredibly kind. He was funny and entertaining to my daughters, he brought them crayons and kids menus to keep them busy, he brought them drinks and the most delicious desserts. We were there for over an hour, and he frequently checked in on us and made sure we had everything we needed. He was absolutely amazing. When we were able to go home and we requested the check, he refused and told us it was on the house, and he said “Welcome to Minnesota!” as we just moved here last week. Eat here. Frequent this establishment. Go for the incredible food, but especially for the unbelievable staff. We will be back. I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name, as he made a really rough night a thousand times better. We will certainly be visiting this restaurant often, and we think you should, too.

We had an incredible experience at Bloomington Chophouse! Our waiter, Jay O, was absolutely amazing. He was attentive, friendly, and took the time to walk us through the menu and explain each item he brought to us. My husband and I had such a wonderful dinner — it was one of the best, if not the best, filets we’ve ever had. The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.
Highly recommend!
PS... do yourself a favor and order the calamari and banana peppers... soooo freaking good!!
