Carmine's Bar & Grille

Beware. Their menu says one thing, but they give you about half of what is advertised. I called to complain and talked to an owner (Jimmy). He complained that I called on a Friday night when he was busy and then hung up on me. What a jerk. He clearly doesn't care about the customer experience. Will spend my money at Northstar instead.

This was our first dinning experience at Carmines and the food and our server Angela did not disappoint. Angela, started with a warm greeting. Then asked if we had ever been there before. Once she found out it was our first time she explained the specials and even let us know of her personal favorites. We got the Cajun shrimp appetizer. I ordered the steak special and it was cooked perfect. My husband ordered Chicken Marsala and it was delightful. We ate at leisure and enjoyed every moment. We are looking forward to more memorable meals and excellent service.

The staff were super friendly. Vibes were nice and chill. I ordered the baked chicken parm and it was delicious. Kitchen does close at 9pm.

Oh my goodness- went to Carmine's on a Monday night we all ordered the steak dinner special and it was delicious!

Shout out to Carmine’s waitress, Leigh Ann, who remembered our group even though we hadn’t been in all summer, remembered I like my water with no ice, remembered I have celiac disease and can’t have croutons or onion on my salad. But the best was when she had given the others in our group their food and announced she was going to go wash her hands before making my salad. That made me feel safe as someone who is always concerned about cross contact in restaurants.

We were greted when we frist walked in. Our waitress came over soon after inorder to take our order. Although after our food was delivered to our table she barely came back. I had to wave her over one time and another time she was just sitting at a table with another waitress just talking.

Seems frequented by anti-vaccine Trump and RFK jr enthusiasts. The jukebox is set to play random past hits and an old Kanye West song came on. One of the RFK crowd said who played this crap? Boy did they misread the crowd. He asked if the jukebox could be set to play only classic rock. Anyway, only non-white guy, a black guy, in the room. Now I know why. Never be the only one, words to live by. Plenty of good options around, so not an indictment of the neighborhood, just this place. Non-whites, you have been warned.
