The food and ambience was good. This lunch meeting was an interview of two female candidates for working in a professional healthcare business. The interview was a public restaurant. When the candidates went to use the bathroom two female employees approached them and asked if they were uncomfortable and safe as they opined that I had dined at this restaurant with other similar candidates. The candidates were also approached by a male employee and questioned. This has happened on two separate occasions at this restaurant. It made the candidates very uncomfortable and they shared this information with me. The candidates and interviewer were from different racial and ethnic backgrounds. I have dined at many fine restaurants booked using open table and never experienced this phenomenon. It appears that the staff at this restaurant does not respect privacy, racial and age disparities and deduces erroneous conclusions from meetings in public spaces. These two experiences have made me feel extremely uncomfortable with this restaurant and its staff and will deter me from ever going back to dine here. There are multiple other fine restaurants in the area that are devoid of such discriminatory and defamation behavior.
The Truffle Garlic Sourdough bread is simply delicious
Paired that with the Skunaa Bay Salmon to make a perfect dinner.
Amy the waitress was supper pleasant and attentive.
The chef took consideration of my lactose allergies and ensured there was no cheese on my bread

Service was impeccable. Food was delicious. Ambiance was nice but the restaurant was all but dead, so no it was quiet.
Loved this place. They were super accommodating with our halal food requests, and everything was delicious. Great service and atmosphere, definitely coming back.

Cedar+stone is a very special place. We celebrated a birthday and the evening was a celebration! The food, the presentation, the service and the place all contribute to an exceptional dining experience. We will be back!
Impeccable service. Service persons were never obtrusive but always knew they were needed. Outstanding food beautifully executed and presented.
Excellent restaurant. They were very accommodating with our requests for halal food, and everything we ordered was delicious. The service and overall experience were outstanding, highly recommended.
I was visiting from Detroit and I chose this place for my husband and I to try. It was great! I had the Rejuvenation Cup and he ordered the Green Mountain Dynamite for cocktails. We had the meatball appetizer, a little spice, tender meatballs and crusty bread. For dinner I had the braised short rib, their most popular dinner dish and he ordered the pork chop. Everything was fantastic. Dana was our server and he was super knowledgeable on the menus and suggested the butterscotch bread pudding for dessert. I would love to come back and try breakfast and more items on the menus!

Dined Sunday, Sep 21. Restaurant was quiet/not busy. The hostess put us in the bar area. Bar tender didn't know how to make a White Cosmo. Food was fantastic. Ordered short ribs, Amish chicken and seasonal artisanal pasta. Prices were high but ambience and vibe just didn't read 5. Would return again if in the area, but with choices would dine at other restaurants.
First time at restaurant and enjoyed the clean, organic, modern feel of the design, open windows and a lot of light plus fresh menu and prices were pretty in line to most restaurants. With that said, I'm confused why management and staff decided that moving tables around (not for arranging for a large party) but changing them out during the lunch with other tables was the best time to execute (even though they were on coasters with wheels). It was distracting and took away from the experience of what would normally be a nice relaxing lunch environment. I'm surprised, especially Marriott, which normally hold to higher level of hospitality would make that choice. I am an Envoy member and visited many of their hotels, bars and restaurants in my life traveling. I'll be back but they might want to rethink the reorganization of the restaurant before or after they open.

My meal was not good at all. I ordered salad. Lettuce was not fresh. Out of plastic container it seemed. Salad dressing my very poor taste. The bread has something in it that the server did not know about ... I think mushrooms. Which was not in the menu description. Desert good.
Everything we had was absolutely delicious. Sourdough to start, short ribs, filet, mac & cheese and truffle fries. Dessert was creme brulee, ice cream, and cheesecake. Sooo good. Peyton, our server, was excellent. Very friendly and right there when we needed something. Highly recommend Cedar + Stone. Can't wait to go back.
Cedar + Stone was a great spot. The charcuterie board was fantastic , super fresh and really well put together. The Wagyu was a little underwhelming for what I expected, but honestly not bad enough to keep me from coming back. The service was amazing, the atmosphere was louder than I expected but it is attached to a hotel so there's that traffic of people but overall it was a solid experience. I'd definitely give it another if I'm back in town.
We grabbed dinner at Cedar + Stone while staying at the JW Marriott, right next to the Mall of America. Honestly, we picked it because TripAdvisor kept popping it up as one of top restaurants in the area, and it was convenient as we stayed at this hotel. I went with the grain bowl and salad—probably the best one I’ve had in a while! The mix of quinoa and wild rice was so tasty. My son got a burger, my husband tried the steak Caesar, and everyone was happy. We started off with some brussels sprouts, and those were awesome too. Tried a few spritz cocktails—also pretty good. The only letdown was the salmon; tasted like it had been frozen. But overall, the place wasn’t crowded like everywhere else in the mall, so it was a nice, relaxing meal.
Expensive, and just a bit over-priced for the taste & quality of the meal, IMO. The vegetarian pasta dish was good - my spouse finished her entire meal, which she rarely does. I had ordered the pork chop medium - which means “pink”, but it was cooked to well-done, and was dry, and rather flavorless. (Hint from a chef: that's the trick with pork chops: don't overcook them!). The service was fine, but nothing exceptional. No one ever came by to check on how the entrees were - but if they had, I would have reported “okay”, only because I hate wasting food. The drinks were good, but again, expensive, @ $17 per drink (craft drink prices were not disclosed on the menu). The two glasses of wine were equally as expensive - I happen to know that the retail price for a full bottle was less than what this establishment charged for a single glass. But in fairness to the establishment, they did at least give a full 6-ounce pour.
