The service wasn't that bad but they are definitely very insistent that you order now! The food was okay, nothing extraordinary. But the margarita at this place is definitely terrible, it tastes like cheap liquor with very synthetic flavors and if you order it flavored oh God!! They are exaggeratedly sweet.Last summer we had a family meeting the waitress, who by the way was very nice and kind, offered us mojitos and wow, you can't imagine how wonderful they were, very natural, I've never tried one like it but I think it's only seasonal. Or maybe they took them off the menu. ??

Food is phenomenal, I love the white salsa they bring with the red salsa and food has always been cooked to perfection serving sizes are NICE and the drinks are great.Had a super sweet waitress wish i would've caught her name but she was efficient, kind and sweet. Which is hard to find now days. The other staff has always been kind as well. We make it almost a weekly visit !

Stopped in to purchase chips and Queso for a get together. I also purchased a container of salsa. I got to my get together and it was a container of Mexican ranch and not Queso. I called later that evening and said to the manager that I was disappointed that I basically paid $20 for a container of salsa. His response was well everything is expensive now and the restaurant has to make a profit.

Diego and Eliu were so great and accommodating. We came in at the last minute and there was no rush to order or eat and leave. They care about their customers experience and creating a great welcoming vibe for everyone. The tacos and rice & beans were soo good I can’t wait to eat the rest later. This is a caring family owned business and you can feel how much they care.

There are much better Mexican restaurants in town. El Loro wasn't bad, but not as good and fresh tasting as other places.

The experience was good until I got the bill. Waiters were very friendly and the food was good. I ordered a house magarita and was a little shocked to see it cost $14. A bowl of beef soup was $21. Doesn't show on this bill, but there was a 3% charge for paying with a credit card. Because the service was good I did tip a little more than 18%. Just a little much to pay close too $100 for an average 4PM dinner for two people.

Visiting from out of town. We love Mexican food and thought we'd give this place a try. The atmosphere is so fun and inviting, but we were a little disappointed with the food and drinks. Our beverages (soda) had some chemically smell/taste to them and my order came out wrong and honestly kind of cold. It could have been an off night but for being our first time here, we were just a little disappointed. Our server was wonderful though!*editing to add that they charged a surcharge when paying with a credit card with out disclosing the information.

my daughter and I just had dinner at this location . it was the worst customer service I've ever encountered with the manager . He accused us of ordering something we did not and didn't bother repeat back the order. when we asked for the manager he tried to turn it around on us and make it look like we wanted the money back and we never asked for that . I will never return to this location.

This latest visit to El Loro is not the best experience I have had here. I been a patron of the restaurant for many years. It seems some of the recipes I loved have changed like the queso sauce. This last visit it was not so good. It had a slight orange tint and looked lumpy and was very salty. Please bring back the old recipe. Also I ordered a large beer and the server gave me a small beer.My overall experience was disappointing. Had this been my first visit I would not be a repeat customer.

Okay, first off, I’m a door dasher so this is a little different perspective than other reviews. This place took 30 minutes in addition to their normal 15 minute wait time to get ONE ORDER OF ENCHILADAS ready. As a doordasher, this is so rough as we get paid only for deliveries we make not for time spent waiting. I lost almost an hour’s pay due to them taking so long not to mention the customer who waited over an hour for a meal that should’ve been there in less than 30. For a not busy restaurant on a weeknight, it was SO slow.
