El Loro Mexican Grill

The manager was extremely rude . I order a dessert and was unable to cut thru with fork or spoon the bottom was hard . He are with me as I demonstrating I could not cut through .
The food is inconsistent with weather is it is good or awful.
I have tried over the last 2 years to come here and the manager is always awful

A bit tricky to find if you don’t know the area well, so just be aware:) It is a hidden gem 💎! We’ve never had to wait long to be seated. the staff is always quick, attentive, and friendly! Everyone in my party loved the meal they ordered. The lunch menu has a lot of great choices!Their chips and salsa is awesome. Drinks are always full! my brother and his wife love the tres leche cake 🍰 , so we ordered 2 pieces between 4 of us, and it was finished:) The decor is my favorite of all! the paintings on the tables and chairs are so beautiful and colorful! The other location in bloomington had the same beautiful decor until they closed. If you want good american mexican, El Loro is a great choice! They have a really lovely bar area as well! 🥰😍

Will never go back again! The food was not good at all, the margaritas were pre-mix bad quality. They have a nice location and friendly servers but a restaurant lives on good food and drink. This fails badly at both. They also have a 5% surcharge for paying by credit card. Never again!!!

Food and service were okay. We ordered cheese dip, still had most of it left when we ran out of chips. Our server took the basket and never brought or even asked if we wanted more, we got them after asking for more. Had our card out on the table and they never brought our bill so we told them to just take the card.

The place is very unhygienic you will see ants & cockroach’s a dirty wet pile of towels when you enter the service is horrible the servers just rude you wait over 30 mins to be seated over 20 mins for anyone to take your order expensive bill for cold food

Horrible horrible dirty place I legit seen a rodent run by the bar the service was horrible will have you wait by the door for over 20/30 mins no respect the food is ok at best the workers don’t even understand basic English & what’s with that dirty wet towel that’s soaked in that dirty mud water how is this place still open

A family of rowdy kids in the next booth made the evening worse. The steak I ordered had a very large lump of fat in the middle.. It was tasty, but overall, I won't be rushing back.

i am vegetarian, i got the vegetarian meal A i think, and the tortillas had a weird texture that i didnt like. also there was way too much sauce on my tostada it barely had anything on it but guac... the queso was good i guess but nothing special. my gf likes this place so i'll probably try some other stuff but my first visit wasnt impressive.
