Falafel King doesn’t label vegan items, and management is super difficult to reach (I tried unsuccessfully 4 times before my visit), so I relied on the counter staff for guidance. They were reasonably informed and recommended the Falafel Bowl or Vegetarian Bowl as vegan-friendly options. I tried the Falafel Bowl. You are asked to choose either salad or fries—I picked fries, assuming they were a side, but they made up the entire bottom layer. Next time, I’d go with salad, as fries felt out of place. The bowl came with four falafel balls, hummus, and tahini. Flavor-wise, it was decent. The falafel had a crisp exterior and chewy center, and the tahini was tasty, though thinner than expected. While it doesn’t match my usual Mediterranean spot in terms of taste or vegan clarity, it’s the only nearby option in West Bloomington. I’d return to try other veganizable dishes. For now, I’d give it 3 stars and revisit that rating later.
Reliable place for Greek-Mediterranean food. My family and I visit here at least twice a month when I don’t want to cook. Order online or drop by — food is prepared quickly and is fresh. I like that I can get a quick meal that’s vegetarian with lots of options for veggie and my family can get the meat they want. I know the menu by heart. They’re pretty good about making substitutions if you need. There are better Greek restaurants in the Twin Cities, but at this price point and for the convenience, Falafel King is one of the best choices. Save some money and drink water. Dining in is ok, but not exactly anniversary dinner type atmosphere. Staff is always friendly at Bloomington location.

Clean great customer service and amazing falafel!
This is a restaurant from the Mediterranean countries, including the Caucasus countries. The restaurant is Muslim and sells beef, lamb, and chicken. They do not sell alcohol or serve pork.

Falafel King in Bloomington delivers excellent, fresh food with impressive speed. You order at the counter, and while the components are prepped, everything is assembled to order, resulting in a virtually nonexistent wait time. The quality and taste are definitely a step above, and the portions are generous. While the $20 price point, including a drink, is higher than some nearby options, like a vegan burrito, the superior flavor and quantity make it worthwhile. The pomegranate lemonade is intensely sweet and delicious, a perfect complement to the meal. If you're looking for flavorful, fast, and filling Mediterranean food, Falafel King is a great choice.

We've ordered from this place many times and always liked it, but it seems to be going downhill. They left out one item, had an excuse for another item and the rest of it just really wasn't (stale bags of pita could've been sitting on the shelf for a week) but falafel is still good.

It is not the king of falafel but the food is good, what I would ask the owner would be who told him that putting a painting of potatoes looks nice or the fake plastic flowers that are on the tables, if he is going to put that it is better not to put anything.
