Terrible service. Took forever for anyone to acknowledge me or take my order. Complained to the manager and he didn't do a thing. Otherwise, the calzone I had was very delicious and my salad was crisp and tasty. A little pricey for what I received.

I recently visited Green Mill tonight on 10/7/2025 and had an initially exciting experience winning a significant amount on a pull tab. However, my interaction with the woman behind the counter I will not name, when cashing out left me surprised.
After winning, I approached the desk to claim my prize. The staff member then provided the cash as to be expected. And as a gesture of gratitude, I offered a tip, which I believed was reasonable. To my surprise, the staff member took the gratuity and then commented that the tip I left was “almost insulting,” directly to my face, then put the cash I gave her on the counter returning it back to me. I found this very unprofessional and it really annoyed me seeing how much I support this business by purchasing food consistently for years and having this whole interaction unfold as I’m having a celebration with family the same night at your restaurant really left me speechless. It is a tip and it should not be expected. This remark soured what should have been a positive moment-and night which made me feel undervalued as a customer.
While I understand tipping is discretionary, such a comment was unnecessary and created an uncomfortable and definitely unforgettable experience. I hope the management addresses this to ensure staff interactions remain respectful and professional. I’m hesitant to return unless improvements are made in how customers are treated during these interactions. I do not know what urged the woman to say this to me but I certainly hope this isn’t a thing she has said to other customers. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Was a long time customer of their Eden Prairie location before it shuttered and came here for the first time this afternoon. Ordered a bloody mary along with the chicken marsala. The Bloody Mary was just like I remembered, although their skewer only included three olives and not the meat and cheese like they used to have. I was a fan of the chicken marsala years ago and was disappointed when they took it off the menu, only to find out they brought it back! It was freshly prepared and the chicken itself was perfectly cooked and it tasted great. The overall atmosphere was nice, although quiet since we came in the down time between lunch and dinner. Our server was attentive and great from a service standpoint. Will be back to try the diablo wings and Kabeelo Lodge Walleye as those were also some of my favorites. The lady up front was so nice to me, she was extremely bubbly and sweet I’ve never had green milk before but seeing how this lady was I am extremely excited to try it ☺️
DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The service was terrible and night manager is rude. They have no a/c and it was in the 90's outside. We had to box our pizza to go because it was so hot in there. I went to use my rewards, and the lady scanned it and came back and told me, I didn't have no rewards, even though it showed up in my rewards, history, and they tried to argue with me over the Reward saying this was used and they're the ones that use it. They finally got it straightened out. Someone at the bar told me the a/c has been broke for awhile and that they been using fans

We had a large El primo thin crust for lunch today. It was the example why Green Mill gets awards. Great taste, loads of toppings and flavorful sauce. Oh, did I say Jody's service was wonderful.

Everything at this establishment is fantastic except for one thing. FIX THE AIR CONDITIONING!!! I'm sure there would be more people in there from hotel eating if it wasn't 100 degrees in there.

The wife and I went there to eat dinner we hadn't been to a green mill in a while and unfortunately the one we usually went to was closed. Well we shouldn't have gone to this location. We ended up with dry and cold food. And both now have food poisoning. I asked for a refill on my soda 2x and still never got it before we had decided to leave and our server only checked up on us once without me flagging him down. Atmosphere was okay because it was quiet for a Saturday night. Needless to say we will never be going here again. Very disappointed! Stay away from the Western mill burger and the boneless Diablo wings. Also I basically paid $50 for food poisoning. I think I should get my money back but that will never happen.

Been there twice in the last month. Food is really good. Sodas are a little watered down. Service is bad. We have had a hard time getting someone to come back to the table. And when they do we ask for refills or condiments or something and then we don't get what we asked for.

Everyone was very nice, but they seemed very short staffed for a Friday with only one floor server. However, the manager was out there jumping in and helping which is good.
Wow. Extremely Hot & Apathetic. That should be the name of the restaurant. AC is broken, it happens, maybe just our bad luck in timing. However to compensate, they have just one industrial factory fan that doesn’t circulate, just blows on one table. 84f, according to the thermostat. The food. Woof. Eggs were empty, French toast was empty, juice was out, water was nearly out, potatoes were cardboardish, only one employee, and only saw her once. Appears she was trying. People started to take things from the bar, glasses, plates. Why, because the buffet was out of glasses and plates. Worse food experience ever? It’s close.
So we got overcharged $6 :-\
We had a great experience at Green Mill, from a welcoming employee to Jose the manager checking in how we enjoyed our perfectly lovely meal.
