We went to Kincaid's for Valentine's Day. The menu was a three course meal for couple's that had amazing selections, all for $135. My fiance had the Filet mignon and shrimp. I had the salmon oscar. Both were beyond outstanding, melt in your mouth. The server, Jerry, was phenomenal and patient. He explained everything in exquisite detail. We both got salads ahead of our main course, and they were huge, fresh, and delicious. We thought we might not have room for our real dinner. Garlic ciabatta bread with clarified butter was served with the salads, and it was to die for. To finish it off, we had a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream, chocolate and caramel sauce with candied pecans. The whole meal was incredible. The atmosphere was very breathtaking with high ceilings and tropical plants. I am so impressed! I had no idea how great it was going to be!
Overall, our time for valentine's day it was fair but still nice. We got in and were seated at their “private” area which is really just an overflow where the bar is. That kind of sucked because the whole point of going here was to be seated near their waterfall and be immersed in the ambience (which didn't happen). The spot was still alright though! Our server was an older fellow but really didn't give any energy. Other restaurants have servers who will ask us how are day are and excited to serve us. The latter he did the bare minimum and really just didn't try at all. It sucks for the price we pay that we didn't feel respected enough and felt like he was just “here damn” (didn't say that obviously). The food was good but not 52 dollars good, obviously it's fine dining and we get that. The steak was good just a regular plain meaty steak and the sides were good. Overall our time at Kincaids were good but the overall experience you get is lack luster, especially if you're not near the whole view and main area. I'd recommend RH rooftop if you'd like an alternative which still gives romantic and great for photos. stellar service too!
Friendly accommodating hostess. Our Valentines Day celebration started with a table in thier overflow / emergency exit area. We were reseated, but in their bar. When I make a reservation weeks in advance, I expected to be seated in their dining room.
For a busy Valentine's Day the pace of service and the server were the most enjoyalbe. As usual the food was up to Kincaid's high standards.
Always great!

Very pricey, which we expected, but I also expected a more elevated dining experience (something closer to the Saint Paul Grill). We didn’t get that.
Service was average at best, and the seating felt cramped—like they were packing too many people into the space. The food was fine but nothing special, and the drink options weren’t impressive. I ordered an old-fashioned and it was easily the sweetest I’ve ever had. Didn’t even finish it.
Overall, not worth the price point.

When I'm in Bloomington, especially at midday, I don't hesitate to have lunch at Kincaids. The food and service is always very good, (plus, it is so convenient to get to the restaurant from the parking ramp, avoiding the cold weather). We tried their new desert, butterscotch bread pudding, a great addition to the desert menu.

I came here for New Year’s Eve dinner and I enjoyed it. I really like the location. It’s so beautiful. It is a little tricky to find if you’ve never been there before, but it’s inside of like a business tower and you go like around the building and you’ll see a little parking garage and you park in there and then you can walk right to the door and it’ll take you to inside the building and then you walk down some steps and there is the restaurant. All I know, I have lovely experience. I will say that the fettuccine dinner I ate needed more seasoning. It didn’t have enough seasoning for my taste but other than that, it was such a nice place. I can’t wait to go back again.

I was quite disappointed with our dinner last night. We had a large party of 14. Reservations had been made several weeks in advance, giving ample time to staff and prepare. Despite having a guest with a walker, we were seated at the farthest back corner of the restaurant. The soft drinks were served almost immediately, while alcoholic beverages took 20+ minutes to arrive. The lighting was poor and the lettering on the menu was miniscule and in a pale font, making it very difficult to read. Bread was served once, and when it was gone, was never replaced. I ordered my steak well-done. The server asked if it could be butterflied, which I said was fine. When my meal arrived, my steak was neither butterflied, nor well-done. The bearnaise sauce, which I paid extra for, was served in a small ketchup-cup. It was runny, not creamy, and tasted like straight vinegar. I was not offered soup or salad. The plate presentation was bland and boring. The serving size for the $27 pasta dish that my partner ordered was small and had very little Italian sausage in it. It consisted of mostly noodles and sauce. Throughout the meal, which was quite long, our server did not return to ask how our food was or to offer drink refills. My drink was refilled only once when the meal was delivered, after which it had already sat empty for quite some time. Multiple pieces of unused drinkware were left on the already cluttered table until well into our meal, and our dinner was disrupted again by the placing of additional plates and silverware at each setting which served no purpose and were eventually cleared away, untouched and unused. In an economy where we personally choose not to dine out as frequently as we once did, we are selective in where we spend our hard-earned money in hopes of a stellar experience. Kincaid's left us wanting more. Much, much more.

We arrived late to our reservation because of snow, they got us in and got our food out to us fast, so we even had time for desert before our concert! Great people there!

I booked a table of ten for our office holiday dinner. The restaurant was not very busy, as it was a Sunday night, so we were very surprised at how long it took for our first drinks to come out. Maybe they were understaffed for the night, but it was much slower than expected. It just seemed like things like water refills were slower than you should have at a nice restaurant like this. With that said, that was really our only complaint. Our server was extremely friendly. The food was fantastic. Everybody had something different to eat, and everybody enjoyed their meal. The atmosphere was great, and we had a really fun time. All in all, I think that we would all go back again!
I had an awesome experience here entertaining some clients for the evening. I had just had a steak the night before, so the server talked me into the Walleye, and it did not disappoint at all. Tender and perfectly executed, with a wonderful smoked cocktail to match!
