Service is overall very slow and waiting for the food is beyond the imagination, we were literally have to look for the server inquiring about the time frame of once the food was delivered there weren't any silverware at our table, the food was tasteless it was falsely advertised, please consider other options around the area!!

LARS is a cozy restaurant nestled within a hotel, offering a thoughtfully curated, though modest, menu that meets expectations. Our dishes were prepared promptly and tasted as anticipated. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, they remain reasonable given the overall experience. The highlight of our visit was the exceptional service—our server was efficient, personable, and highly professional, making the meal truly enjoyable.

The Old Minneapolis cocktail is a nice, sweet version of an old fashioned.
Cheese curds are lightly battered and lightly fried. Perfectly melted cheese inside. Very nicely done.
Walleye had good flavor with a nice butter sauce.
Waitress Ashley took great care of me.

Lars was a convenient location to meet fiends after a concert. Just had one round of drinks and an appetizer.

I cannot say enough nice things about this restaurant. The food quality is awesome and the service is exceptional. Their carne asada is something I highly recommend. I would fly all the way from New Jersey for just that! They have a number of gluten-free options which is always great. I ate dinner here on two days and on both occasions my server was Ashlea. Her service (with a smile) is incredible. She is very knowledgeable about ingredients in the menu and can advise on the right choice of items and drinks. She is extremely efficient--always on her toes--and is a true asset to the business. Ashlea made my dining experience a pleasure. Thank you!

Came here for a team dinner. Our server was amazing. She was funny and she really knew the menu. Drinks came out fast. And she even rushed some fish tacos for one of my teammates who had to leave early.

The carne asada was amazing properly cooked and tender. The chimchuri was incredibly good.

Great apps and drinks. Server was very attentive. Lovely ambiance. It was an unexpected surprise to find in the hotel.

Possibly the best Carne Asada I’ve had, and the walleye was excellent. Loved the atmosphere, and our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and polite.
