Horrible food, no different than Chef Boyardee from a can! The only redeeming thing about this place is the bread and dipping oil.

Magnificent, this my favourite restaurant in the whole of Bloomington, and the surrounding area too probably. I get the Sangiovese to drink every time and never regret it (even though it's only by the bottle). A truly wonderful place.

Wow — talk about a hidden gem! This place absolutely nails it from start to finish. The service is warm and genuine, the atmosphere feels like home, and the food? Outstanding. Every bite of that chicken and sausage pasta hit with real, honest flavor — hearty, comforting, and made with love.
This is a true mom-and-pop Italian spot that reminds you what dining out should feel like. Forget the chain restaurants, this place has soul. Can’t wait to come back and try more of the menu. Highly recommend!

You get bread, salad, and a pasta dish. Not flooded with a bunch of choices. Just really really good, cheesy Italian food. Super cute atmosphere too. Unlike any other restaurant I've ever seen 🥰

I visited this restaurant for the first time today. I will start with the good .. I liked the atmosphere and the bread and salad were excellent! The serice was average. The main dishes unfortunately were not the best.. the fettuccine tetrazini were way over cooked and it had way too much sauce. The bourguignon beef with gnocchi was not the best either. The beef was very tough and the sauce wasn't that great either. Unfortunately, I will not be going back to this restaurant. I am Italian and this restaurant at most is maybe Italian inspired.

This was a wonderful restaurant. The bread was fantastic. And I had the amante de Luna, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
The restaurant decor feels like it is giving vibes of an Italian inspiration. My only thing was that I thought the tvs felt out of place at the bar. It is very minor and overall the ambiance felt good.
The service was great. The server was friendly and I didn't feel like I ever needed more water because it just kept coming on time.
I thought the price was reasonable too.

I can’t say enough about this restaurant. Wonderful family from Sicily that makes great authentic food. The bread is the best I’ve had in a long time. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and authentic. The restaurant was comfortable, cozy, and great ambiance. I’m from out of town but when I’m back I’m eating here every time.

Charming vibe! Amazing food! Great stop for dinner before an excellent theater production at the Bloomington Civic Center!
I have been wanting to go here for a little while. The atmosphere was great, the service for the most part was good, we waited for what felt like an hour for our food. Sadly the wait on the food was not worth it, pasta was way overcooked, sauces tasted days old along with any tasting like it came frozen out of a bag. We were greatly disappointed, it literally tasted like a microwaved meal. We will not be coming back.

I’ve drove past here plenty of times, never knew it would be such a hit. It’s a pretty small restaurant, but don’t let that fool you. The food is amazing and the service is even better! A must try if Italian is your thing! 🙂

The place has been built with sole and love, the building has a calling to Salvador Dali (I know he is Spanish) but wanted to give you an idea of how unique the place and it's owners are. The food is expertly prepared and they have a good selection of beer and wine to accompany the meal. Find a cozy table and enjoy a real local favorite.

The food was not good at all. What they called spicy Italian sausage was cheap brats. The meatballs tasted like they were frozen from a bag. The sauce tasted cheap and canned. It was very expensive too. Definitely not authentic.
