We dinned in last week during the snow storm. It was pretty empty, so service was quick. The crab cakes were delicious and I appreciate that it came with 3 cakes instead of the normal 2 at most restaurants. My fiance and my teen ordered the chicken and waffles. Warning, the chicken was hot!! My son says he'll get regular strips next time. My fiance liked them. I ordered the New Orleans salmon. My dish was good however with the name New Orleans, I expected way more flavor. I had to add a decent amount of salt to my food and I NEVER use salt. I'll probably order something different next time but we will definitely be returning!

Went for Saturday brunch, overall happy with the service and food. Would return. Took off one star, here’s why. Feedback is that mushroom scrambled eggs were great as were the hashbrowns, however there was no cheese in the cheesy hashbrowns, so a bit of a disappointment as they were just regular crispy hashbrowns and the menu should be corrected so it’s not misleading. The cream for the coffee was old and looked curdly when poured and server insisted it came out of a new box. She did rectify immediately though by offering us a new cup of coffee and milk instead of cream. Husband thought the hot chicken and waffles was the best chicken and waffles he’d ever tasted.

They shouldn't insist that everything that they offer is the best version of that food. The best thing here is their cheese platter. If you are from New England, like me, don't waste your time or money on their lobster roll. Very mediocre place.

The food was horrible brought my mother and it was 50 dollars total for the two of us I had to eat both plates because my mother couldn't handle how salty it was. Lobster bisque was very salty and the entree's were unbalanced the flavors didn't mix and it was also both salty. And I'm a guy who likes salty foods.
We had a very enjoyable meal. The location on Penn Ave has a very nice atmosphere and views. The only knock was that the staff gathered close by to have personal conversations and could get loud at times. This would not be a deterrent for me returning.

It was a fun evening out with family and we tried Mallards - a new place for us. Our waiter was attentive and kind. Our food arrived quickly - and was truly delightful overall. When one dish went beyond the understanding of "Minnesota spicy", there was a quick response to remedy the dish with an outstanding result. We will definitely return!
