“I was staying in the University of Minnesota and this place was a life saver when I did not want to eat in the dining hall. Their falafel sandwich was genuinely some of the best falafel I have ever had and their fries were undoubtedly the best fries I have ever had. The service was super quick and we got our food in under 10 minutes consistently. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant had a great atmosphere to it. Would strongly recommend if you are in the area!“

“Naf Naf Middle Eastern Grill will satisfy your Mediterranean cravings! Everything is vegan except the chicken, steak, garlic sauce, and baklava. Vegan items are clearly labeled both inside the restaurant and on the website. The pitas are baked fresh in-house daily. Outstanding falafel. This is a solid go-to restaurant for fast casual Mediterranean.“

“The food is full of flavor, soooo yummy ?. The staff was very friendly and busy. This location is in the Love's truck stop.
It was my first time eating at Naf Naf Grill. I asked the lady putting my toppings on for her recommendation on the sauce. Her favorite was the garlic, so I went with it. She was not wrong the garlic sauce, is flavorful and I Loved it.
I wish there was a Naf Naf Grill in Iowa!! Cloest one to me is 3 and a half hours north in Minnesota or 4 hours east in Illinois. Please come to Iowa too?!?!?“

“Naf Naf Grill is located on the 2nd floor in the Nicolett Mall. While most lunch places close, they stay open til 4pm!
Maria greeted me and made my chicken sharwma sandwich very nicely. Fresh fluffy pita packed with spicy hummus, chicken, cucumber tomato salad and purple cabbage. I loved the jalepeno sauce as it gave the sandwich a nice kick. Plenty of fresh ingredients that you can actually taste! Great sandwich on a hot day!“

“Hamdi is a traditional Somalian and East African Restaurant. The place is truly unique, casual and very rustic inside. They have plenty of places to sit and also offer a large private family section according to their traditions and culture. The server was very friendly. There are no paper menu’s. The menu is on a big monitor in the front of the restaurant showing labeled pictures of the food items so you know what it looks like. They don’t have many items but what they do have is made really well! We started with hummus and the star was the bread. It tasted like fresh stone ground wheat but was super light and fluffy. Next, The beef samosas are filled with ground beef, onion and herbs. They reminded me of Lebanese meat pies. Served hot and I surely could have eaten 6 all by myself. Very addictive! Finally, the main entree was chicken steak. The plate looked beautiful, chicken breast sliced thin was tender and lightly seasoned. Be sure to order the rice with dinner vs bread. The rice was aromatic, moist and chock full of flavor! It had an onion and cinnamon nuance but it wasn’t overpowering. The chicken legs entree were fried with rice. The entrees came with salad and a side sauce but it was very hot on the scovil scale. Honestly, the food didn’t need the hot sauce. The entrees were very generously portioned. They don’t offer dessert but after all that good food, we didn’t need it. Happy ending was the hot tea (kava). It was lightly sweetened and had a vague clove, cinnamony and nutmeg taste. But very different than heavy masala tea’s you find in Asia. It’s a plain clear tea with no milk. Very good to help digest all that food.“

“One of my favorite Halal restaurant!!!
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you feel right at home. The restaurant is perfect for anyone craving delicious, wholesome Mediterranean cuisine, and the halal makes it even much more appealing for those seeking ethically sourced and prepared halal meals. Whether you’re new to Mediterranean food or a long-time fan, this restaurant will leave you craving more. Due to halal delicious food I will be keep coming back for sure“

“The restaurant caters for mainly middle eastern customers but there’s something there for everyone irrespective of your cultural backgrounds and taste. The location is not the best because there are populations all around the restaurant that are struggling with addictions. The restaurant too is old and needs renovations but the food and the people are great.
Parking: There are opportunities to park along the street and there’s a free parking nearby for the city Park. You may have to walk 100 to 200 feet but the parking is free.“

“The best East African restaurant in the Twin Cities hands down! I go to Kalsan at least once a month to get the Chicken Suqaar with rice, it's one of my favorite dishes in the city. They recently remodeled the interior too so I tend to sit down instead of ordering take-out now. Great place!“

“Quick (10min if not busy). Good value. To-go area is laid out very poorly - looks like a closed off-storage area at first glance. Needs signs, menus, more light. Need to more clearly disclose the ~5% "hospitality fee" that's automatically added to the bill.“
“This is my go-to shop for smoke in uptown. Staff are super friendly and it seems to be a family business, which I like. I shop for things on the greener side of life and if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed. The house brand is straight fire! ???“

“I ordered one of their bowls while visiting the Mall of America food court. Their service was fast and I got to customize the meal like going through the line at Subway, so I got just what I wanted and nothing that I didn't. The food was great and was a nice break from fast or fried food we'd been eating. It was the best meal of our whole trip.“
