My family is so happy to have a place like this in Bloomington. The food is delicious, the setting is very cute and clean, staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Fast service. We had the lemon ricotta pancakes and cornbread waffles and coffee. Portions are large, had plenty for left overs.Can’t wait to go back.

Breakfast was really, really tasty, and service was fast and friendly. I also loves the bright, sunny atmosphere! The only reason for my 3-star review is the price. $50 for two breakfasts and two coffees. A cup of coffee alone was $5.

Great new spot! I've been going to West Side Perk for years so was excited to try Perk Up Kitchen. Breakfast sandwich was fantastic (and huge) and the cinnamon roll was very nice as well.

Ordered the breakfast sandwich which was good but it didn’t come with the potatoes on the side. Friend ordered the classic breakfast and the toast was only buttered on the very center and potatoes were kind of plain and rubbery. I also watched the bartender strain a drink with the bottom of another glass he had just used and a woman serving was sprinkling something on the plates with bare hands. The food took a really long time to come out. They were very very busy but we still waited around 30-40 minutes for out food.The desserts on the other hand are delightful. I’ve had the puff pastry’s and I tried 3 fruity flavors and 1 savory. All were very very good. delicious. The atmosphere is very nice and I love all the natural light and clean decorations. I don’t know if i would return though.

What a neat little gem! The service and food were outstanding! It was a nice little restaurant where I met up with a buddy for breakfast, and we commented on how pleasant it was to carry on a conversation between us. We agreed that it was due to the fact that it didn't have a large sitting area where more people talking would've made it louder. Just a nice little breakfast/lunch place to meet someone. Fyi, the cinnamon rolls are amazing! I will definitely be back!

Perk Up Kitchen - this place has delicious avocado toast & perfect poached eggs! I recently visited Perk Up Kitchen for breakfast with friends for the first time, and it was a fantastic experience! The menu offered a variety of breakfast options, but I opted for the avocado toast with a side salad. I also requested a poached egg on the side. Everything was delicious! The avocado toast was perfectly seasoned, and the avocado itself was ripe and flavorful. The poached egg was cooked to perfection, with a runny yolk that complemented the toast beautifully. The side salad was a nice addition, light and refreshing. Overall, I had a wonderful breakfast at Perk Up Kitchen. The food was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The service was friendly and attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious breakfast option in Bloomington!

Cute and bright space. Wanted to like it way more than we did. Food was ok- nothing special. Had French toast, eggs and very undercooked bacon. Ordered a Bloody Mary and it was almost see through and not a good flavor. Floor was covered in food. Nice servers. Not likely to return.

Perk Up is a cozy little bistro with an open and transparent atmosphere. I ordered a coffee + chicken and waffles on a weekday afternoon. The coffee was above average with free refills which is quite uncommon these days outside of Denny's or Ihop. The chicken and waffles most importantly had a nice crispy piece of chicken, but it had several issues. Mine simply came with no eggs at all(Edit: sorry owner but your menu clearly states eggs are included) after specifically ordering over medium(my go to for over easy lovers looking to avoid that snotty yoke.) Additionally, the honey butter condiment made no sense. I'm not sure why anyone would feel the need to apply this to a piece of fried chicken. It desperately needed acid for the dry but somehow still soggy waffle. For the price point, I'm unlikely to give Perk Up a second chance.
