Great food and atmosphere, friendly service. Waiter must have been having a bad night, forgot to bring things 3 times but was quite friendly.

I had a delightful evening at the Bloomington, MN, Perkins on France Avenue tonight.

The meal (Country Fried Steak) was excellent and tasted like it came right out of the South. The Mac-n-Cheese was nice and cheesy, and the broccoli was cooked to perfection.

The server, Holly, was very friendly and attentive, and the management team was equally attentive and helpful throughout my visit.

I will be back here again.

I’ve been to this particular Perkins twice. Both times were in the middle of the night and both times the food and service was very good.

Ordered through DD at 3am. Order was made fast, everything was correct and the Classic Cheeseburger did not disappoint. 😋

I been a customer here for about 3 years now the food to me has never been an issue but the service has gotten worst these last 2 years I’m not sure if they have a new kitchen manger or if she has always been the same person but I always hear her yelling in the back since it is an open kitchen you can hear most of the things they are saying back there and when a customer complains about something is wrong with there food the kitchen manager is very rude about it and I always hear her yelling at her kitchen staff which I think is not acceptable nobody should be treated like that I hope a higher up person fixes this issue since this has been my favorite Perkins for the last couple of years

This Perkins is very racist, I stood at the front door for 20 mins and no one never asked me can they help me! I watched them seat 2 white couples and one white man but never said one word to me!! I will not recommend this place to anyone! And the owner and manager should be ashamed, that’s not how you treat paying customers regardless of race!! I will never come here again!!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Perkins, and I just had to write a review to share the exceptional experience I had, thanks to two incredible individuals—Tom, the manager, and Holly, our server. This was hands down one of the best dining experiences I've ever had, and I truly believe they both deserve all the praise.

From the moment we walked in, Tom made us feel like we were his most important guests. The restaurant was busy, but there was no sign of stress or chaos. Tom’s calm and professional demeanor set the tone for the entire meal. He greeted us warmly, asked how our day was going, and made us feel right at home. It's clear that Tom takes great pride in his role, and he’s one of those managers who leads by example. His attention to detail and genuine care for the customers was evident throughout our visit, and it really made a difference in the overall atmosphere.

But the real star of our dining experience was Holly, our waitress. From the very beginning, Holly was warm, attentive, and friendly. She greeted us with a smile, offered suggestions from the menu, and even asked if we had any dietary restrictions. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive—she explained the specials clearly and helped us make some great choices.

Throughout the meal, Holly’s service was impeccable. She checked in with us just the right amount, ensuring that we had everything we needed without interrupting our conversation. She refilled our drinks promptly, made sure our food was just right, and even took the time to engage in friendly conversation. Her positive attitude was infectious, and it really made the entire experience feel personal and enjoyable. I loved how Holly genuinely seemed to care about our dining experience and made sure we were comfortable the entire time.

As for the food, it was everything you could hope for from a Perkins. The portions were generous, everything was cooked perfectly, and the flavors were delicious. I had the Chicken Tenders, which were crispy and perfectly seasoned, while my dining partner went with the classic Breakfast Skillet. Everything came out hot and fresh, and we could tell that the kitchen was working hard to get the food out in a timely manner.

Tom, the manager, did a great job keeping an eye on the entire restaurant. Even though it was busy, he took the time to check in with tables, and I could see him ensuring everything was running smoothly behind the scenes. It’s not often you come across someone who truly cares about the customer experience like he does.

By the time we finished our meal, we were both so impressed with the level of service and the attention to detail. Tom made sure we had everything we needed, and Holly’s kindness and efficiency made us feel like valued guests. We left the restaurant feeling not just satisfied with our meal, but genuinely appreciated as customers.

I can't recommend this Perkins location enough, largely because of the fantastic service we received from Tom and Holly. It's rare to experience this level of care and attention, and it really set this visit apart from any other. Thank you, Tom, for your excellent management, and Holly, for making our dining experience so memorable. You both truly went above and beyond, and I look forward to returning to this location soon!

Edit- more because it’s that good-

Let’s talk about the menu for a second. It’s like a Choose Your Own Adventure book, but instead of dragons, you’re battling the decision of whether to order pancakes or waffles (spoiler: you can get both). The portions are so large, you could feed an army—or at least your entire family, plus the neighbor who always ‘just happens’ to stop by when the food is ready.

But the best part? The legendary pie. I’m pretty sure there’s magic involved because every bite of Perkins pie tastes like a little slice of heaven mixed with nostalgia. If you’ve never

Unmatched Consistency, Comfort, and Quality – Perkins Never Disappoints!

I’ve been dining at Perkins for years, and every single visit reinforces why this restaurant holds such a special place in my heart. Whether I'm looking for a relaxed breakfast, a satisfying lunch, or a comforting dinner, Perkins consistently delivers an experience that is second to none. There’s a reason why Perkins is always my go-to spot when I’m craving delicious food in a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you walk through the door to the last bite of dessert, Perkins ensures every visit is memorable.

An Extensive Menu with Something for Everyone
One of the key reasons I keep returning to Perkins is the diversity of the menu. There’s no shortage of mouthwatering options, whether you're an early riser looking for the best breakfast in town or someone stopping by for a hearty lunch or dinner. Perkins truly excels in offering a variety of dishes that cater to all tastes, preferences, and dietary needs. For breakfast, which is my personal favorite time to dine here, the options are endless. From their signature fluffy pancakes, which are always cooked to perfection, to their warm, golden waffles, there’s always a sweet or savory treat to start the day off right. I love the fact that they offer so many different toppings for the pancakes—whether I’m in the mood for fresh berries, chocolate chips, or a dollop of whipped cream, the possibilities are endless.

If I’m in the mood for something more filling, I can always count on one of their decadent omelets. Perkins takes their omelets seriously. They’re made with fresh ingredients, and the portion sizes are more than generous. The “Build Your Own” option is fantastic because I can get creative with my choice of fillings—whether I’m in the mood for cheese, ham, spinach, mushrooms, or even a combination of all of them. Pair it with their crispy hash browns or a side of sizzling bacon, and it’s the ultimate breakfast treat.

For lunch or dinner, I love that Perkins offers both comfort food and lighter options. Their burgers are juicy and flavorful, served with freshly baked buns and delicious toppings. I’ve also had the pleasure of trying a number of their sandwiches and wraps, which are always made with quality meats and fresh vegetables. But it’s not all about indulgence; there are plenty of lighter fare options, like their fresh salads with grilled chicken or their healthier grilled fish dishes. Whether I’m feeling indulgent or trying to keep it light, Perkins always has a perfect option.

And, of course, I cannot mention Perkins without giving a shout-out to their legendary pies. Every time I visit, I make sure to save room for dessert, and their pies are worth the wait. Each pie is made fresh daily, and the crust is always buttery and flaky, while the fillings are rich and flavorful. The French silk pie is a personal favorite, but the seasonal pies (especially the pumpkin pie in the fall) are equally amazing.

Top-Notch Ingredients & Perfect Portions
Every time I’ve dined at Perkins, I’ve been impressed by the consistency and quality of their ingredients. Everything feels fresh, and you can tell that they take pride in sourcing top-notch ingredients for their dishes. Whether it’s the juicy tomatoes on a salad, the perfectly cooked eggs in the omelets, or the tender meat on the burgers, the quality is always evident. Perkins is one of those places where you don’t have to worry about anything being “off” in terms of flavor, texture, or freshness.

Another great thing about Perkins is their portion sizes. You definitely get what you pay for here! The portions are always generous, leaving me completely satisfied every time I finish a meal. There’s no skimping on ingredients, and I always find myself leaving with a full stomach. In fact, I often have leftovers to take home, which makes for another great meal later.

Dude this Perkins was the greatest most amazing Perkins my beautiful eyes have ever gazed upon. Everything about this place was spectacular: the service felt like home: like coming home after a long 9-5 and my loving mother would embrace me, giving me many kisses, and giving the brunch of a lifetime. Did I ever mention the 5 for 5? You get TWO pancakes, Two pieces of bacon, and an egg in whatever way you’d like it. The 5 for 5 is God’s gift to this world. I can just imagine the image of “The Creation of Adam”, but instead of Adam it’s the 5 for 5 meal. Literally thinking about it activate the silica glands in my mouth. If you want the time if you life (especially past midnight), Perkins is the place to be.

I love you Perkins
