It’s always a pleasure coming to the Perkins off of France Ave. The food is always amazing, the service is truly exceptional, and the pie is to die for! And if you’re lucky enough, right when you walk in, you get to experience a one of a kind greeting from Tom! If you’re ever in the area, you MUST stop here for Breakfast, Lunch, or Dinner - or all the above!!!

I can't count the days, months, or even years since I've received food and service as exceptional as I was given at this establishment. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the pie light and flavorful, and the care to attention on par with any world renown restaurant. I implore everyone to take the time to come to the Perkins on France avenue, and enjoy a one of a kind experience!

To start, the manager Tom is the GOAT of all managers! I always have an amazing experience, it is the best best best best best best best Perkins on earth and there is no debate! Try their chicken strips melt, I haven’t changed up sense I was 11 years old.

Our server (pictured below)had us returning to this location. I can’t recall her name 🥺…We were visiting from St. Louis and our hotel was across the street from Perkins. Every morning we skipped FREE hotel breakfast with kids to enjoy breakfast here. Our server was beyond enjoyable and kind. She made sure we were all full and ready for our daily adventures. We will definitely return to this location when we come for another visit to Minnesota.
Also, the food was great and the restaurant itself was well maintained.

I honestly come for the meals but stay for the pie—it’s the highlight of any visit.

What I love most is the variety. There’s always something for everyone, whether you prefer fruity, creamy, or something a little indulgent. The freshness is consistent, and the presentation makes it feel special every time. You can taste the quality in every bite, and it always feels like the perfect ending to a comforting meal. Perkins creates a welcoming atmosphere where families, friends, and even solo diners can relax and enjoy something truly satisfying. I’ve tried pies all over, but Perkins is the place I keep coming back to.
