The staff were really rude and had an attitude.i asked the lady what time does the bumper car thing close she said at 11 remind you it was only 9:55 so went back and put out shoes on and got up from the bowling area and told her if me and my friends can play the bumper cars and she said they were close already even though it was 10:03 so rude…!!

The Birria tacos are outstanding, the nachos are like movie theater nachos. Don’t order the nachos.

Overall enjoyable experience, but it was too warm inside and I was wearing a short sleeved shirt. Some of the racquets need to be fixed as well.

We reserved laser tag for a team party. Per Whirlyball rules, in order to do the team booking, you have to have pay for 20 people to get a full hour of laser tag. When we went to play laser tag, they only had 17 working vests. So we had kids show up that couldn’t play. If you are going to have a minimum number of players needed to book, you should probably have the amount of a equipment needed to fulfill what is booked. Parents ended up having to police it so everyone got turns. When we arrived it was clear the person that made the reservation (Jen) did not communicate well with the staff. Be aware that when you call to make a reservation, you aren’t necessarily talking to someone at the actual location you are booking. The person I talked to works in Maple Grove and doesn’t seem to communicate well with the Bloomington location. The workers at the Bloomington location (multiple people) seemed frustrated from the moment we walked in because it was never communicated well how many people we had coming to the team party. It appeared this was something they dealt with regularly. They seemed to have only planned for the 20 kids playing laser tag but not for any families. When I made the reservation, I was told the price for the people’s families to eat, so assumed she knew adults and families would be there. Luckily, Sarah at Bloomington did everything she could to take care of us. She was friendly and helpful in getting us what we needed to at least have the team party we had paid for. We worked out the issues and everyone had fun- but I’m not going sure Whirlyball would be my first choice for a team party again.

The bartender on 3/17/24 is the worst! She Helped everyone a round us multiple times as she watched us sit there waiting very patiently. She was Clearly annoyed at our presence. We walked away as we clearly annoyed her. We needed drinks and dinner. The location smells like dirty bar and clearly the feel of the place was she didn’t want to be there. We planned to spend the evening. I would give 0 ⭐️ if i could! 10/10 do not recommend for tourist! Couldn’t get her name as she was too busy for the 2 customers she had!

I came in for some food & drink since it was connected to the hotel. The service was really good, but the food wasn't. Then again, this is a place for games and stuff, not a proper restaurant. They have bowling and Whirly Ball. Looks fun, but I didn't play. Probably a great venue for corporate parties.

Whirleyball. Is. Amazing!! It was so much fun. Will definitely visit again! My 9 year old nephew was with us and had a bit of a hard time reaching the ball, but other than that, no complaints at all.

So much fun for a corporate event. I'd do it in my own time too if I got the people to do it.

Attended a birthday party - exclusively for laser tag here. We rented the space for 1 hr each round is about 7-10 minutes with a couple minutes in between to switch out players and check the score board. We arrived a few minutes before check in time to grab drinks and socialize. They did not have drink menus and when the bartender noticed me looking up the online menu on my phone he told me they don't put out the drink menus out because they don't carry all the ingredients to make the drinks listed on the site/menu. He made me some kind of fruity drink. Overall nice bar staff. Laser tag- we had a little over 20 ppl show up. It was around $350/1 hr of laser lag (~$17 per person). Outside of the arena the staff explained the rules and how things worked. The place was a bit loud with everything going on (other parties and such) but we got the gist of things. We then moved to a tiny room where the vest/laser guns were. As we were a large group we needed every vest available. Part way through the first round a few of the vest died/weren't charged so that made every round less ppl which meant less rounds for everyone to play in general. The arena was a decent size for the amount of people they allow in at a time. It was 2 stories and enough room to move around. I will say this, the first room we entered to get gear smelled REALLY bad - musty/sweat & food (the staff were eating) then when you step into the arena it smelled like pee. That part alone made me rate low because based on a lot of the vest not being charged and the smells, everything felt dirty and gross & it was hot in the arena, which made me not want to participate anymore. The vest needed to be cleaned because they smelled & who wants to put on a musty vest?! We went on a Wednesday night and it was very busy despite being a week day. They have an upstairs bar but it was closed despite how busy the place was. We needed water and had to go back downstairs to get it. The staff was nice enough to give us cups and a few pitchers to bring upstairs for our party - again great bar staff!!! I probably wouldn't go here again but the issues I had could definitely be fixed easily.
