Ok food. Ok beer. Highest beer prices in the area and some of the highest I’ve seen period. Over $8 for a pint that’s brewed on location 😳
I do appreciate their live music!
Great beer, delicious food and amazing service!
The atmosphere was great for sitting outside. They have lots of tables, a stage for live music and corn hole game playing area. Service was good. You order at the bar and a server brings it out. I would have liked full service. As far as the food, the burger disappointed, the texture was off and it was cooked a bit too well done for me. The cheese sauce and onion ring on top were a good combination. Fries were good.
The beer and atmosphere were great. I would give the food a 2.5 for the price. Had the brisket cheesesteak. The brisket was too salty and the bun was toasted, but cold and stale. The breaded mushrooms were greasy with a bland sauce. My lovely wife had a bowl meal with roasted vegetables which consisted onions, undercooked carrots and more celery than necessary. Not great.
Great beer! We had a six flite. Loved 5/6. 6th was good too. Great music tonight!!!
Looked for a brewery via Google and found this place. It looked closed from the road when we arrived. Had to turn around to see that they were open. The brewery itself and the grounds are beautiful! They have done a wonderful job creating this space! The beer was tasty, cold, and crisp! BUT...... the are a few problems that need attention. When we arrived, we were greeted strangely by the beertender. She made strange comments about us vlogging, she made us feel uncomfortable! We don't video other people, just locations for our vlog. Also.... the food was not good. Ordered their nachos, and the cheese was pasty, clumping, and had a strange aftertaste. Horrible.
I do give kudos to the owner who came over to us, asked how we were, explained the brewery's history, etc., which was very nice!
Thanks for the wonderful atmosphere, beer was good, and the owner was super cool... but won't be back until the service and food gets better.
I somewhat recommend....you be the judge...
My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner and welcome party in March at Roundhouse Brewery! We truly cannot say enough good things about our decision to host our events there and about the staff (especially Ashli). Everything was perfect - the communication leading up to the events, the service at each event and of course, the good times! Both events had a good number of people (50+ at rehearsal and 100+ for welcome party) and Ashli handled the details of each like a pro and with patience. We really had the best night and loved the live band in the main taproom as well, what a bonus for the guests at our event! We'll definitely be stopping by next time we're in the area :).
We held our Welcome Party/Groom's Dinner at Roundhouse Brewery this month for our wedding and it was a truly incredible experience! The team was SO easy to work with, flexible, and welcoming. I would choose them again in a heartbeat! Also, the wild rice beer is so unique and delicious- highly recommend!
Great beer, great people, good times.
We love going to Roundhouse! Their beer selection is large and the atmosphere is so much fun. A great place to hang out indoors in winter and a super fun patio in summer. Also have NA options.

Can't wait to come back!
Their beer and seltzers are great! They have a cool layout and friendly staff! Our visit was in the dead of winter (-33° with wind chill) and had a great time! We can't wait to come back when the weather is nice to enjoy their outdoor seating as well!
Fun atmosphere with good outdoor seating with elevated stage for music bands. Food menu is solid and brew master gal is personable, all staff friendly. The juicy train IPA is very good
We recently helped throw a welcome party the night before our son and daughter-in-law's wedding and Roundhouse was a great venue! Great food and drinks, super helpful staff, and a great all around space. Shout out to Curt who ensured every detail was taken care of and helped us pull off a great event for 60+ people! :-)
Where to start with Roundhouse? They have axe throwing lanes in the upper part of the building. There are TONS of tables on the patio! Seriously there is more seating outside than there is inside. Inside seating includes an upper pavilion. They have a kitchen. And it is amazing. The brisket bowl with green beans and potatoes was better than some I've had at a menu restaurant. Roundhouse also has a large beer menu! When the beer tender told me to make a flight of 4 or 6 I was slightly confused until I actually looked at the menu! A few beers of almost any style imaginable. Hard teas, sours, IPA, light beers. Seriously, out of 6 samples, only one was not my jam. All of the beer was solid. Crushable, you might say. Even the key lime pie sour was well balanced and delicious. Well worth the stop when you're in Nisswa. Also, I cannot rave enough about Emmerson. She was friendly, knowledgeable and engaging. But she also was great with talking with my kids. They have been talking non stop about going back. I wish I could give Roundhouse more than 5 stars.
Edit:
My wife wanted to stop for a Tea Time for lunch on our way home after our vacation. We had just as much fun the second time as the first. And Evan was superb! We will definitely be making trips up just to stop here.
Love the beer selection here. I do miss the old train yard it used to be in..
