I get great service from this place most of the time. But there is an older woman that works there (probably the owner) that is very rude and ruins the experience. She shouldn't interact with customers

The roast pig and cha sui was not good. Pig skin was hard as a rock and the chopping skillz were lacking. Food came out looking like an amateur using a cleaver.Duck was ok but they need to prep it on time. We came to pick up a pre ordered duck and had to wait 30+ mins.Going to go to House of Wu from now on.

I have flewed to South East Asian countries and tried singaporean chinese, malaysia chinese and thai versions which are overall juicy and tasty . Cantonese roast pork is mediocre at best. Roasted pork skin is leathery and too salty. Char Siew bbq pork is just okay but at times dry. Ordered duck sauce and chilli oil but was never given any that is worth 6 bucks! Ordered all these online for pickup and was delayed twice by a total almost 30 minutes from estimated delivery time. No apologies from the restaurant for delays. I do not recommend going there unless they improve their service and food quality.

What a Gem in the Twin cities! My family I have been going to this restaurant for the last 11 years. It is a family owned business that deserves more recognition! They always treat my family with respect each time we come. My toddler can be a bit rambunctious but they treat her like family! Their menu is impressive and well worth every penny spent. I have eaten at all of the Asian restaurants in the twin cities and this restaurant is definitely in the top 3. Thank you Hip Sing for the great food and great memories that you have helped facilitate!

Bought a roast duck tonight. Hallf of it was uncooked with raw meat and blood. Had to roast it at home before consuming it. Will never return. Lady owner, you should've switched the duck when you were cutting it and noticed that it was still raw.

I order a roasted pork online and when i open the box it looks really good i heat it up on the air fry so that skin will be more crispy but when i try it. It was super salty. Maybe try to put less salt. And also we end up eating there while waiting our order and waitress who serve us wasn't really friendly she kinda have attitude. But one of my friend who recommend us the place said the same thing its not a good bussiness when you're waitress have an attitude! I dont think i will be coming back to this place again!

There's a weird smell from the aquaries. The most remarkable is that Google claimed they opened at 9, their website said 10, but when showing up at 10:30 a rude angry woman told us they don't open until 11. It was a very disappointing experience as an Instagram reel with roasted duck had lured us there.

The food at Hip Sing is so delicious! My parents and I love coming here. My mom’s favorite dish is the seafood tofu hotpot, my dad’s is the sizzling beef tenderloin, and mine is the beef chow fun with sauce. The employees are kind and helpful.

I went to Sun Foods to buy some specialty foods but before we decide to eat something and stop in this joint. For my surprise this is more than the regular chinese, the rosted bbq pork was amazing. The service was good and there are plenty of choices on the menú. Next time will try the roasted duck.

Had an order for 11:15 that i placed an hour before got there at the listed time and saw there was about 4 orders that had 11:15 written on them and a lady asked me twice in a five minute span if i was picking up and i said yes and gave her my name and she basically made it seem like neither of the orders were mine finally after about 10 MINUTES i ask again if my order is ready and tell her my name and she looks at one of the order that WAS SITTING THERE THE ENTIRE TIME and says here you go sorry after 10 MINUTES!! I got home and the food was cold and absolutely disgusting! the duck was cooked so badly and was the worst duck i’ve ever had in my life and the “veggies” that came with it were 2 nasty pieces of bok choy which i usually love! TERRIBLE FOOD AND SERVICE THE LADY WAS VERY RUDE OVER THE PHONE AS WELL STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

Update: This place doesn't do phone orders. One of the few places that doesn't do phone orders. So I usually get pork and duck when I order here. My main complaint is that the old man working there don’t use gloves or wash his hands before doing multiple things. I saw him being food out from the back that was for take out, grabbed duck, then grabbed pork. He then bagged up some orders. Like I said, I stopped ordering here for many years, and I finally decided to give it a try again. And now I don’t think I will be ordering here again after seeing how they operate.
