Delicious! Everything was fresh and flavorful. Portions were a little small except the fried fish was large and meaty.

First of all! Whoever auntie is in that kitchen, need a house purchased for her. I’ve been coming here for years & tried many different menu options. All soooo so good! But that TILAPIA though?! I could eat it daily! It’s cooked perfectly & has so much flavor! Mmhm!

This place is a scam specially on DoorDash you order a large the medium you order extra large they’ll send you a large even though extra large is $13 more did a large or DoorDash so be careful when you order for them on DoorDash cause they will scare you And then they’ll say they don’t know how to change their prices which is just a lie pretty soon. They’re going to get put out of business if they don’t get it under control

Really enjoyed my first visit to Milah’s Royal Bistro. I ordered the cassava leaf torborgee with white rice and the Royal bistro dried rice special with fish. The fish was flavorful and spicy, and the dried rice was well seasoned. I also really enjoyed the cassava leaf (which included beef and turkey) with the rice. The wait was not long either. I know other reviews mention poor customer service but that was not an issue on my visit. Great West African cuisine here!

I convinced my two coworkers to try African food. None of us have had it before, (I'm the more adventurous of the three when it comes to food), so we set off to Milah's.

We entered the restaurant and were greeted. We let her know that we hadn't had African food prior, and she said she would bring us some samples, and we could sit wherever we'd like.

After trying these, I got the Goat soup and Fufu, which was delicious with a nice medium spiciness. The Fufu on the side was nice and filling, and tasted good with the soup.

The dish also came with a small cup of something on the side, which I think was ground mango seed. The ground mango seed was bitter on its own, but when added to the soup, gave it a really nice nutty after taste, and wasn't bitter anymore.

My friends both had chicken gravy (stew) with rice, and they were both very impressed. One coworker has an affinity for spicy foods, so he had the (Habanero) pepper sauce and he loved it. The spiciness gave him a run for his money.

Additionally, we had 2 different types of Jamaican ginger beer. In the fridge, I was surprised to see Malta India, which I didn't know what common in that part of the world. They also had assorted Jamaican drinks I wasn't familiar with.

The wait staff were friendly, and we very much enjoyed the food.

The only slightly negative items: It was pretty warm in the restaurant, and there were a few flies buzzing about.

However, we had a great time, and really enjoyed the food. If I'm ever back in MN again, I would visit Milah's again.

This place has had several cooks and or management and the recipes are always different, they should consider hiring a real cook who m is qualified and knows how to cook African food. Ordered jollif rice and wanted fried talapia but they only had croaker fish instead , I never tried that fish but Ok fine , they Said it’ll be 20 min wait so I waited 25 minutes and arrived there and waited another 10 minutes. My total was $28. The small dipping container of pepper was an extra $2. , got home to eat and the flavor of the rice was off and it was mushy ,it tasted like they fried old rice for a long time and the fish was supposedly fried but the texture was still slimy and rubbery and wet, yuk , it was like eating raw fish scales, I hate wasting food so much so me and my family ate most of what we could stand to eat and threw the rest away , but we vowed never to go there again, too expensive and the food was like slop, very disappointed.

The food is nasty! The service was terrible. There was no season whatsoever. Everything you get there you paid for, there is no free water that comes with your meal. The lady who served me and my friend charged us for everything, including pepper, charge us extra for water, pepepr, etc. It was a complete disaster! I'm never eating there again. Don't waste your money going there. We ordered an attieke and fried fish but ended up eating a tasteless fish and tasteless pepper sauce that wasn't fried but had water sitting in it.

I drove all the way to Osseo
Waited 45min just to get greeted
I mean no one came to the front counter for 45 good minutes.
When they finally came I tried to order beans torborgee
I was told they do not serve it and that I should drive to Brooklyn center to get it.
Drove all the way to Brooklyn center
Ordered medium size
overpriced 26 to almost 30 dollars.
Use to love this place but It’s not the same anymore food tasteless and overpriced.

Amazing food and super nice staff! I'm excited to come back and try more dishes. I had the cassava leaf torborgee, which was delicious. I like spicy food and usually don't find restaurant food spicy at all, but this dish had a pleasant bit of heat to it—not HOT, but still had the additional dimension of flavor that I've come to love.

They gave me the wrong food and told me they couldn’t do anything about it. Customer service is really bad. They changed the pricing significantly, it is not updated on their website. They do not honor the coupons they send out via email. I was told they don’t know how to use them.
