Spice & Rice is one of my favorite food options in Brooklyn Park. I decided to build my own rice bowl on my latest trip. Crispy and juicy fried chicken, white rice, fresh broccoli and bell peppers, and jerk sauce. Absolutely delicious bowl and it paired well with the clypso egg rolls. I’ve had the island beef patty, shrimp bowls, and the reggae shrimp on prior visits (all amazing). Everything is made to order so the quality is top shelf and well worth the wait. Never a bad meal here, plenty of Jamaican and Asian fusion to be excited about!

Tried for the first time on a raining drive after work. Good variety of ethnic dishes over rice or fries. Jerk chicken was good. I believe most will find something on the menu to their liking. Lots of folks ordering take out to eat at the brewery next door.

Food was delicious and the people there were nice! Just a bit confused on the type of service. Seems more geared towards delivery/takeout than dine in. But I got the Ocho Rios and it was divine, the Asian Street Fries were crispy and perfectly sauced and layered with cheesiness.
I also have a shellfish allergy and did not have any reaction so their kitchen must be well kept!

Tried this after seeing all the positive reviews. We each tried one of the items from their classic menu, and coconut shrimp to start. We decided to dine in, which we probably won’t do again as it was slow service. One waitress and one cook, still very nice! My jerk chicken was dry, and I needed to ask for extra of the sauce, but the presentation was beautiful. I’ll probably try something else next time because my husbands had a lot better flavor. Overall 4/5 and we’ll likely be back for takeout.

Nothing better than having normal expectations but a restaurant's food being overqualified. I only recently discovered this spot but ive eaten here 5 times in the last 3 months. I've enjoyed every item I've ordered so far and have made a habit of introducing friends and family to this restaurant. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back again

The food is great, especially the spicy oxtail. Can’t recommend this place enough for flavor and preparation. They always cook the shrimp perfectly. Just know it’s more of a grab and go.

Service phenomenal, explained the menu! Food came hot! Chicken is solid, broccoli yummy, the added bonus was peas and green onion bits with flat green beans. I did 10 out of 10 for spice and perfect for me.. lips burn but not
Parking: Food truck and cones in the lot connected to brewery, next door

My food was prepared well. Ratios, crispness, doneness. I arrived between traditional meal times and heard my food being prepared fresh for me.
The spice level is extremely low for Jamaican/Asian fusion. It seems to max out at "two Taco Bell Hot packets on one soft taco" level. A Minnesota 7/10 hotness, but if I ordered a dish from my favorite Thai place at 3/10 I expect it would be about as hot as my spiciest items here. Just wanted that information available to customers so they can set appropriate expectations and order food they'll enjoy.

Dinned in and ordered the Build Your Own Bowel. Menu had typos and options were limited.. The food turned out had a large portion. It’s fresh and cleanly cooked. The portion of rice was too big though.. it might be better to offer less rice and allow customers to choose another topping/veggie. Sauce was prepared on the side which was thoughtful. The dine in atmosphere was not comfortable. The cleanser they used to wipe the table had a strong smell and felt like the mope has been used many times without cleaning - might consider changing the cleaning water or rinse the mope more often. Overall I would not dine in next time. Will order take out for the food.

A small unassuming shop, but the food knocked our socks off! We loved the flavors of the Montego Bay bowl and my wife did a build-your-own bowl which was also fantastic. Fresh mango and veggies on the side were delicious - but the Calypso egg rolls were just amazing. They have a bold crunch and a delicious sauce that I just can't get over. I'm still thinking of them!

We ordered Ochos Rios and Chicken Red Thai Curry. We loved both dishes. They came with cream cheese puffs and those were delicious also. We will be back!

The place was very welcoming and warm when I walked in to pick up our food. The cook came out and thanked us for supporting them. The food was AMAZING! Got the raggae bowl, Asian street fries, and korean bbq. Easily some of the best fusion food we’ve had. Will be coming back whenever we are in Minneapolis.
