This is not authentic Mexican food.The food had no taste and was over priced.Seems like they cut corners to save money specially with the horchata. It is soooo watered down that it taste like dirty water. The only that was a little decent were the Birria tacos.

This place so reminds me of home. Family owned and such a sweet staff they cook up Mexican favorites that are so delicious, so non midwestern in such a relaxed down home environment. It's like sitting in a grandmas kitchen and enjoying family favorites, in this case my family loves sopes, street tacos, queso barria and unbelievable burritos. A true Mexican restaurant has red and green salsa in bottles and home made salsa to dip chips in. Drinks come in bottles and the flavors will haunt you! I am thankful it is close to where we live!!!

I was pleased to check this Mexican joint off my list. There is plenty of parking so no need to be on the lookout for a spot. I came here strictly for the tortas and ordered the Torta Cubana. This was my first time ever trying a torta, and I figured it was going to be good after reading the reviews. It was a busy sandwich with breaded steak, beans, hot dogs, jalapeños, lettuce, tomato, and avocado. With everything going on, you could still pick out each ingredient which I liked. The steak was just a little bit chewy and could've used more seasoning but otherwise I enjoyed it. The green sauce they served with the sandwich was what took it to the next level. I was looking for some more flavor and this did it for me. Although, if you ordered this sandwich with a slow cooked meat, it would probably be out of this world. Definitely a good spot to try out if you are in the area.
I ordered the Birria Tacos and my friend ordered the Steak Tortas. The tortas tasted really great ! Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the Birria Tacos. It’s disappointing because that’s the most expensive item on the menu. The taco meat was flavorless and the Birria soup was bland. I tried to put hot sauce and lime but even that didn’t help. There was no salt in the meal. I also bought the tres leches which was nasty. I couldn’t take more than a few bites. I would definitely come back for the Tortas tho…Update Day 2: I’m writing this sitting on the toilet in agonizing pain. Wish I didn’t eat here yesterday.

Carna Asada was tough and had little flavor. Was supposed to come with rice and I never got it. Said he would bring it out when ready and never did. Guac had little flavor and wasn’t mixed up well.
