Jessie was our server tonight. Our party was booked for 7 people, but we miscounted and actually had 9 She easily made it work and helped us rearrange. We had so many newbies for hot pot, but she helped us so quickly. There was never a dirty plate on the table. She made the 2 birthdays we were celebrating extremely special. Best service I've ever had at a hot pot restaurant. Best service I've had at a restaurant in a long time. And I'm a server! I would always sit in her section. Thanks for the EXCELLENT service. Jessie deserves a raise!

We arrived around 5-6pm. There were 3 of us; my niece, my mom, and I. No one else in the restaurant, kind of nervous because it was completely empty when we arrived; wasn’t sure if the food was going to be good or not. We got seated right away, our server was excellent! He showed us how to order and explained to us which broth was most popular and which is more recommended for the elderly.
Food arrived fast & fresh. They checked up on us and removed dishes that we didn’t need anymore off the table regularly.
We did the AYCE for hotpot and sushi. Ordered 2 roll of sushi; UPIN roll was fresh and hot. Shrimp tempura could have been rolled better and tighter but still good. Crawfish was already cooked, it came out extremely quick but some of the crawfish were still cold and salty. I ordered onion fried rice for my mom, size was perfect for 1 person. All other dishes were fresh, no smell to it and didn’t have a frozen taste to it.

My daughter and I planned on another hotpot place in MG but it had a 75min wait. I remembered seeing that Upin was open nearby so we came for dinner. No wait time at 7pm. Seated quickly... we get two choice of broth.
Dining: plenty of seats and they had several tables good for groups of 6. They had a bar for veggies and sauces Well ventilated and lighting is on point. Used iPad to order. Very simple and to the point. Robo waiter brings out the order (super cute).
Food: Perfect size for 2 ppl. Soup bases: szechuan and bone broth were both very spicy and savory. Meat cuts were perfect. Order sushi and it was fresh and delicious. All unlimited. Wasteful food will have a $10.99 per pound charge. Its posted at the table which is fair. Dont order what you cant eat. Portion control order.
