Stopped here for lunch today before we are going to go shopping. It was pretty disappointing. The burger was so so nothing special and the tots I got were so salty I could hardly ear. My wife just got a burger and I shared my tots with my wife. We weren't to impressed.

The fries were perfect! Burger was delicious! Place was clean and spacious, with a relaxing sit-down atmosphere. There's a bar and a few tvs, but it's quiet enough to speak conversationally. We had a great time!

It's been a pretty disappointing experience to say the least. I remember when Wahlburgers inside HyVee was fully staffed. Now, it's embarrassing because there's no wait staff. All there is, is a cashier who takes your order. The same person is also the server (only brings you the food) and busser. You're sitting in a self-serve food place much like a McDonald's, except the smiles are few and far between. The wait for the food is much like a full service restaurant, but there is nothing remotely resembling that level of service. If you're looking for a dining experience, this is not the one. The food is as good as you'd expect from Wahlburgers.

HARD PASS. So called Wahlbugers at this location is slapped together with half-trained HyVee employees that know NOTHING about the menu recipes nor good customer service. They run it on the cheap. How does a double burger have 2 differently done patties? Bartender has to look up basic drinks on her phone...wowHire A REAL CHEF to work the kitchen. Not a bunch of lazy kids.Never a checkback on food/refills. Just pay and tip when you order at the counter and pray you actually get service for it.

We went there 5:00 on sunday and the place was desserted. For 10 mn there was no employee to be seen in the place. After this time employees came out but none of them bothered to give us some service ot any of the two other customers that arrived during this time. After 15 min in the place we simply left, not coming back, ever again. Simply shameful place and shameless employees.

Took my friends daughter out for lunch. Her burger off kids menu couldn't stay together. I ordered my burger with a gluten free bun. The burger came with a regular bun, i had to ask for my gluten free bun. Someone did go get it but my bun frozen.

Order ahead of time like a fast food restaurant, tip before you get your food, had to clear our own table and ask for sauce and boxes. Just wasn't a great experience at this location.

First two burgers I ordered were sold out at 7pm on a slow Friday evening, it took them over 30 minutes to cook our food, when it did finally arrive wife's burger was missing a good chunk of the lower bun and her onion Tanglers were cool not warm or hot. And her burger was sitting in a pool of burger grease. They did bring a fresh order of Tanglers and offered a fresh burger, but we didn't want to wait another 30 minutes

The service wasn't bad at all, just a little awkward ordering in the restaurant for food in the dining area. Glad there is still a Wahlbergers on the Northside. Sorry to see the one in Maple Grove closed.Love the onion strings!
Bottom bun SOAKED with grease, undercooked and not great service. So different from other Whalburger restaurant. Way overpriced for the quality. I felt bad for our out of town guests cause we bragged and went out of our way to bring them to Whalburger. I won’t be coming back.

This was my first time trying Wahlburgers. Food was okay, patty was very salty and greasy, literally dripping grease with every bite or even just holding it! This location was connected to a HYVEE so I’m not sure how a regular restaurant establishment should be. But to order food was outside of the dining area, inside hyvee by the deli, which was a very odd location. And I got a fountain drink with my order.. I tried 3 different drinks before I finally found one that was not watered down or too syrup-y. That was a huge inconvenience. I’m not sure if that’s how the restaurant just has it, or the staff didn’t feel the need to change out the fountain drinks properly, but that experience was disappointing. I wouldn’t come to this location again. I would probably give this place one more shot just to make sure that the one day I went probably was just an off day… but it’s a very slim chance and not anytime soon

Very disappointed in our first time experience with this restaurant.The setup is bizarre - you order at the counter and then sit in the dining room to wait for a server to bring out the food.But they have a full menu, including alcoholic beverages and specialty drinks like Milkshakes and Adult milkshakes. But you can’t order alcohol with your meal, you have to order it at the bar separately apparently? (According to the cashier-waiter)The food was average at best. I mean, government cheese on the menu?! But beyond that, the buns were soggy from grease and/or juices, the hamburgers were poorly cooked (almost raw looking in the middles), the sweet potato tots were tasteless and soft, not crispy at all! The Mac and Cheese was sooo dry and lacking flavor, and the kids fruit cup was just a basic, tiny prepackaged cup from the grocery store - like those Del Monte or Dole kind to put in kids lunch boxes. You would think a restaurant could provide a more robust and seasonal fruit cup for the kids. Especially when the dang place is attached to one of the largest grocery stores in the area!!Worse yet, the fountain soda machine wasn’t working correctly (syrup and carbonation ratio wrong, syrups out of stock, etc.), the water machine only produced sparkling water, and the separate ice machine was out of order. The staff, although very friendly and helpful, did not appear to be trained well enough in the menu to ask important questions such as dipping sauce for the grilled chicken dippers, and they weren’t true wait staff, so no one came back to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed - meaning Silverware! Or napkins, condiments, correct order, etc.Sadly, we do not recommend this restaurant and we will not be going back to one either.On the plus note - The French fries were ok, the PBJ burger was tasty and the BBQ sauce on the BBQ bacon burger was pretty yummy. The milkshake (although entered incorrectly) was yummy also - but I wanted the adult birthday cake shake with vanilla vodka in it, not the cupcake shake. It did come with the top half of a cupcake and looked amazing but was rather plain when drinking it. Should have mixed up the cake chunks into the shake instead.Any how - our family has agreed that the third Wahlberg brother’s claim to culinary fame is just as disappointing as Mark Wahlberg’s performance in the Transformers movie…
