This restaurant is an amazing hidden gem for food lovers, a must-visit spot inside an Asian grocery store! The food is incredibly flavorful—you can smell the deliciousness as soon as you walk in. Huge portions, reasonable prices, and a great selection of desserts. The servers are all friendly and welcoming. I’ll be back every time I’m in town!

My family and I usually go here to eat and everything has always been good. But lately the service has been slacking. Today I put in an order for 4 cold cut banh mis for pick up and mind you I always did this with no issues before. I was running an hour late but called them to tell them I was 10 mins away and apologized for running late. Only to find out that they gave my orders away and they ran out of bread to make it. I am 9 months pregnant and I am beyond pissed off. Their reasons why they gave my order away was because she didn't take down my number when I placed my order for her to call me back to make sure I was still picking it up and because I was running late. Mind you when I called the second time the guy was able to call me back to see where they were at with the banh mis and he didn't ask for my phone number because he had a caller ID he was able to call back too. So the girl that took my order on the phone couldn't even have done that and called me back or at least taken down my phone # afterwards or hung up. When she realized she didn't even grab it beforehand ? Maybe she should start asking for names and numbers for order pick ups so this doesn't happen again. That isn't my job to do but this is very unprofessional and lack of service for them to do and to waste my time. I expected to have this order ready for me since I called ahead of time . I haven't ate anything all day and was excited to eat this. They said they had to literally drive to St. Paul to pick up bread. Disappointed as this is around 1pm-2pm when people are hungry and coming in for lunch and they ran out of bread to make banh mis? I told them I had to hurry back and get to work so this is all inconvenient for me right now. I went to the store myself to see what was going on and why this happened. They apologized yet but had no good reasons on why they gave my order away. They said the bread should be here in 15 mins so I am currently waiting although I should have too my money elsewhere. Currently waiting to see how this is taken care of because this shouldn't have happened in the first place. Finally got my banh mi after waiting for 40 mins when I got there. They couldn't even compensate me with a discount or at least throwing an extra banh mi in or anything for the inconvenience that they caused me today. . I WILL NOT BE RETURNING here no longer due to the lack of service and professionalism of how they handled things. You're better off going to Lus sandwiches in Minneapolis. And there's better Asian restaurants around . I DO NOT RECOMMEND! And don't order any pick up because they will most likely give it away .

The pho was very tasty. Seems a little odd for the restaurant to be in a grocery store but the servers were very nice, attentive and the portions were large. I will definitely go back again
The food is good, but the principal lies in the service and the integrity of the servers. And the servers stole from me. Or my bank rather. And if they are petty enough to steal a dollar, imagine how many times they've done it before. It was just me, I ordered the large Pho, which was $17, and a free water that I didn't even get a refill on. The server only came by 2 or maybe 3 times total, and I never asked for anything else but my initial water and my food order. $2 was fair for their efforts, but I guess greed won. Now, it earned y'all a one-star review over a dollar. To the owner, please teach your employees to have more respect for your business and some integrity not to steal. Cause they were caught with these photos!

The selfish side of me wants to rate this restaurant at a 1-star for everything so that no one else will come here... but in reality, this is the absolute BEST pho I've had in MN. That homemade garlic chili oil is no joke.
Don't come here so I can keep getting seating. Thank you for your cooperation.
Note: Agreed with the other review regarding the 18% gratuity that is added on for 4+ people. It's not very obvious, and is automatically added on without an itemized receipt. I don't believe the establishment is being dodgy about it, but they could be more informative.
