I ordered the smoked cabbage and it was awful. Hard as a rock. I ask waiter to see if the kitchen could fix ... it wasn’t much better 👎

Friendly bar/tavern with wide range of choices for food. Get there early to guarantee a table.

Easily the nicest restaurant in cannon falls. Very good atmosphere. Would be great for a date-night. I like their fish fry.

Got the steak with mashed potatoes and veggies. Veggies were frozen from a bag and my steak was hard as a rock. Waitress was very nice though.

Had an unexpected trip to the Mayo today( emergency room) . Stopped in for lunch. Never have been greeted so poorly in a very long time. Lady behind the bar area (didn't inquire her name)(short) must have been having a bad day. Never been here before so wasn't sure if this was a wait to be seated or seat yourself. Never have we had that question so rudely responded to ever, like we were bothering you to come in for lunch. This alone makes it a one and done for me.

On the other hand, our server whom I gladly asked her name saved the visit. Bailey was her name. Kind, lovely and welcoming. Because of this reason only, I may consider another visit.

Now I know people have bad days and such. And get overwhelmed. But if I am walking in to spend my money you don't get a second chance to make a first impression. Honestly should have just left.

Bailey. Thank you for making the visit enjoyable for this I'll give all the 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟

Back patio swarming with flies. Server joked we were getting a work out trying to keep them off food.

Cocktail came with broken glass in the ice.

Food was average at best. Burgers are ordered without a done preference, just well done.

Skip it.

Very good food. Horrible service. Rude, condescending, eye rolling, server (Gloria I believe) seemed annoyed we were there. Group of us meet there once a year and this isn’t the first time she has treated us poorly. Asked for another set of silverware (think one set went back with our appetizer plates), was told “I already gave you 8 sets”, asked for more napkins was told “there are some at the other end of the table”. 2 examples of the rude treatment, I could write A LOT more but you get the gist. I am a server and bartender, if I ever treated any guest the way she did, I’d be fired immediately.

Great service and food was very good. Juicy burger and good buffalo wings. If you want to go orders call in early they were turning folks away due to increased in person dining. It's very good food....do not miss out. I would suggest a wider variety of burgers. They all seemed very similar. BUT they taste very good.

Between the noise level and physical space, it felt very cramped throughout, but I'm a bigger guy. The protein seemed a tad dry and small-portioned, but the veggies were crisp and the potatoes were delicious!

The Mill Street Tavern is a good place to eddy out after a paddle down the Cannon River. My partner and I shared a Whisky burger and Baja Fish Tacos. The Whisky burger is pretty good with a nice sauce but seems to missing something - it seemed like mainly a juicy patty in a bun - maybe it needed more onions and mushrooms? The Baja Fish Tacos were disappointing - the salmon is supposedly grilled but it tasted like salmon from a can and there was only a trace of pico de gallo. The Tavern has War Pigs Foggy Geezer on tap which is a definite win. The turtle cheesecake was quite tasty and made a nice dessert. The two waitresses on duty at lunch were busy but friendly and helpful. I would happily go to the Mill Street Tavern again after a paddle on the Cannon River but would try different entrees than we had today.
